Hmm, I remember you now, weren't you a "hater" during the ARTPOP era? Sorry, if I have my facts wrong, but I think I remember that correctly. Oh, and I don't really care about persuading people, I just wanted to point out the facts. I still love Lady Gaga as a person, and will gladly give her future albums a spin if they are good, but I cannot really listen to her new music anymore.
I was never a hater, just a bitter ex-post-BTW stan who enjoyed shading her and getting some annoying monster riled up to make it up for their Madonna-shading posts
I checked your last.fm and I think you'll give that new pop/rock album a lot of spins

Oh I see, yeah I remember some of those posts I think.
I hope she actually does what she says (haha, yeah right) she is going to do, and actually releases a classic rock influenced album and drops pop music. Also, if she had released an entirely acoustic album of new music with just her voice and the piano, I would still be stanning for her right now.
Songs I was 100% happy with ARTPOP:
- Venus
- G.U.Y.
- Sexxx Dreams
- Artpop
- Donatella
- Fashion!
- Mary Jane Holland
- Gypsy
- Applause
And I mean if you love that many songs on any album, it's doing well right? I hate that ARTPOP is slandered and treated as this failure. No it wasn't as successful, but since when are sales indicators of quality? I've been a Gaga fan since the beginning and she's continued to feed my appetite for pop music - and I'm happy with everything she's released so far. I'm not exactly a huge jazz fan, but it's certainly easy-listening, pleasant music that no one can really say too much bad about.
I know being a "stan" and all is basically fake cause no one's going to love every little thing a person does, and it's silly to suggest otherwise, but don't dislike the album because of how successful it was. If you enjoyed the performances, went to the tour, bopped to a few songs - just be grateful you got that. Like Gaga recently said, she was really close to quitting a few months back - and I wouldn't have blamed her after the atrocious tearing-down she's been subject to ever since some of the Born This Way singles faltered. If anything, we should commend her for sticking to her guns with a polarizing and "pretentious" concept (is it really though?) and delivering what people wanted from her - dance bops.
So what should I expect as I break that oath and listen to the album in full? Shall I listen to it from start to finish? Or shuffle the whole alburm? Help me out sisters. This is gonna be huge. Specifically stayed away from all of the sounds from the songs... only collective thought was the DJ WS posting some 20 second video of an emotional beat for artpop
"Paws Up", would be cool for G5, it's positive (like thumbs up) and like you're saying it's recognized as Gaga symbol... I don't feel the B/W thing, TF(M) and BTW weren't very colorful and now another one to the collection... but I like the idea
I just threw that together in 5 mins from what I could find - I'd definitely like it be a nicer paw, perhaps like her tattoo, and in colour. But faded. Not bright.
I think Paws Up sounds like a killer dance/stadium song more than an album title.
If Gaga wants to tribute fans on the next album, why not do something like this for the cover art (and call it something better)?
It's part of her iconography, but feels like it should be cemented. It's a Monster thing, and a Fame Monster throwback. It's strong, defiant and weird. Quite a striking album cover. Could be iconic.
I also like the idea of it not needing a title or artist name.
I LOVE this idea. It's too good and would actually work and if the music is just as bad-ass it could be a great moment for her.
I mean, do you even know who half of them are, or have listened to any of their work? How can you judge artists you have never listened to? Slay though.
If the BTW Collection cover was used as the cover for standard, it would probably be one of the most iconic things she done. It looks like a easily recognizable classic.

I disagree. This masterpiece needed to be the cover.
