Now we hear from ANTM winner, Drag Race host, and beloved fruit, Citrus!
Hello, Citru Boo, how you doin? Life good? School good? Let’s hear what you’ve been up to since your win?
I'm lookin' good and feelin' fine. I recently added a math minor to my economics major, and I'm looking at Islamic studies for a second major. My boyfriend (aka Athens) and I have been together for a while now and he hasn't made me hate him yet. I've been wearing a lot of crop tops recently.
How do you feel you’ve done since your crowning and how do you see JakeKills doing now that he is joining you in a legacy of winners?
Tbh, I took a break from the site immediately after my win (sorry supa!) because the competition is slightly exhausting. Aside from that, I think I've done okay. I'm currently hosting ATRL's Drag Race, the hit new game with a bigger debut season than ANTM, LES ATRLers, and Big Brother . I have also been branching out with my #NicheThreads like the Sphynx Cat Fan Club and Scooby Doo Base.
Oh, I'm supposed to talk about Jake, too? He'll do fine. He's the most popular winner we've had in a few cycles, and he stans Cher. He's got a good head on his shoulders.
Since you were a previous contestant, how do you think being a contestant affected your judging as compared to the other mod judges?
Ddd @ "mod judges." It sounds robotic. I think I was more into it than some of the other judges, as evidenced by how often I got into kerfuffles in the thread. My comments were usually harsher than the others, I think. But, as I've said multiple times, I did that because I don't think all-positive comments help. So unless you delivered a perfect 10/10 entry, I didn't write entirely positive things. Especially if I scored you low, I don't want you to think I scored you high, so I was honest with what I disliked.
You seemed like you were in the most…scuffles out of all the judges. With not just the contestants but the judges too. What was going on babe?
While I'm usually very playful, sometimes my devout open-mindedness makes me sorta feisty.
You had your biggest altercations with Cupid it seems, have you two spoken since “Bomb” Gate and patched things up?
Honestly, no. I regret posting my criticism of his judging in the thread, but I haven't heard from him since. He never replied to my PM asking to talk things out (I think he might've been ill around this time? Idr). I told Matty we worked it out because I didn't wanna hold the game up any longer, but there's no bad blood left as far as I'm concerned.
What were things you noticed in being a judge, then being a contestant in the game?
It's different sides of the same coin. It was just like, if this were my entry, what would I do differently, what could be better, etc. Nothing too crazy.
Was there anything that you saw in the judging panel, politics wise, that you want to get out off your chest that you didn’t agree with?
Not really (aside from my answer to the next question). The system Matty uses for deliberations/scores is very good. I disagreed with some individual rankings, but my dislike isn't going to change anything, nor should it.
Now that you’ve been a winner, a regular contestant, and a judge you’ve basically gone through all the motions of this game, is there anything you would like to see change in Top Member?
It still bothers me that members like A Bomb have no realistic chance of winning. He could've written the world's greatest speech; he was still going to be ranked last by most everyone. Heck, his testimonials blew the other three out of the water and he was still up for elimination. I'm not saying he should've won the game because I think Jake was the right choice, but it's irritating that this game punishes "messy" members. If we're only going to reward WP-free members with moderator potential, advertise that. Don't act like it's for everyone when, based on reactions to iHype, A Bomb, T-Swizz, and countless others, this game is definitely not for everyone.
As long as the panel is comprised mostly of moderators, the game will reward those who appeal to moderators. And here's the thing - this has been brought up for several cycles in a row, and the idea is dismissed each time, so I don't really see it changing.
Do you have any regrets on how you judged this season, or looking back would you have done things differently?
I wish that halfway through the cycle we had a "check-up" of sorts. Like, have each judge write a paragraph or so about every contestant telling them what they like so far and what they want to see them improve upon. Sorta like a little pat on the back to remind the competitors that we are ultimately here to help and support them, not just point out their flaws. I think some positive reinforcement like that would've been cute.
What was your favorite entry?
Ooh, that's easy. Era's bobbleheads were the best thing anyone submitted this entire game. I think I ranked him 2nd that round, but luckily the other judges were smarter than me and realized he deserved the #1. I think Era is gonna end up a bigger member than everyone else that competed this cycle, a true Element tea.
Any final words to your successor?
Jake, you earned this 100%, and I'm so happy I knew you before the competition and got to know you even better through it. I look forward to seeing what you do with the title, and I'll have Matty revoke your crown if you stop posting in the Cher base.

You'll hear my answer on why I'm confused as to why this is seen as the "mod" center judging cycle, but I do have a serious question for everyone. I do listen and I'm trying to improve this game for the better, honestly.
MY question being, who would you consider perfect judges for ANTM?
I would like names, not just anyone who aren't mods to be honest.

Edge was actually my favorite judge from all the seasons he's judged.
Sorry Matty, much love.

One perfect judge isn't gonna change much; the game needs different types of members on the judging panel, so it can better represent ATRL as a whole

The real tea is that it was my idea to bring in more non-mods into the panel and me who suggested umich.
So that was 3 non-mods at the time, but yeah, i'm the villain

Why are you apologizing? I've expressed my love for Edge and he would have been a judge again this cycle had he chosen to step away for a bit.

This judge came brand new to us, a beloved ATRL member in his own right constantly winning everything popularity wise, and has more money in the bank then his fave probably. Seriously he gives gift like Subomie gives handjobs. Lets go Umich!
So Umich, your first time judging top member, how did it feel, and how did you find your niche as being a judge?
My first time judging this cycle's ANTM was a great experience. I felt honored to be a part of this well-known, iconic game, so I was pretty excited when Matty asked me to join. As a judge, I found my niche by being myself - carefree and laid back, as I am outside of ANTM. I've always seen this game by browsing/lurking in previous season's threads, so it was nice to actually be in it (as a judge). I found my niche just by being myself - carefree and laid back. I've judged other games here, so I didn't have any hard time evaluating on a non-biased basis.
Were you hesitant to join when Matty had asked you to originally become a judge?
Hesitant? No. I was pretty stoked when he asked me to become a judge. I was, however, shocked because I wasn't sure if he had liked me or not. Based on some of the feedback/comments he gave me when he judged Les ATRLers 3, I was questioning if he had like me or not. Obviously, I believe that I was overthinking it a bit, like I've done with other things before.
You mostly kept it silent and were more in the background as opposed to the other judges, were you a little shy to be more opinionated or participate as much as the other judges?
Honestly, yes, I was a bit shy. Mainly for my own stupid reasons. I always find it a hard time to mix and mingle with the other contestants because I felt that they had already established their own friendships/"cliques", so sometimes I felt that it wasn't necessary to interact as much. It wasn't anything personal against them. I also have this problem where I always worry about what people would think if I said something that was of unpopular opinion. That's something I'm working on personally, but I'm just a bit upset with myself for letting it impact my full potential as a judge.
Coming into the competition as a first time judge, was there anything you were surprised by or didn’t expect?
I wasn't really surprised about anything coming in as a judge. I knew there would be certain deliberations where we would not all agree on the same contestants to eliminate... and I was right. For the most part, aside from that, everything seemed in the ordinary for me.
Who were your initial picks for the top 3 when you first picked your batch of 14 contestants?
My top picks for the final three were A Bomb, Sam, and FunkyDinevo.
A Bomb represents a group of members who aren't totally known but has so much personality/edge to push boundaries and become a well known figure. He proved me right by making it all the way to the top three.
Sam takes pride in everything that he does. He's very passionate of his faves and doesn't let anyone change his views. I've always thought of him as a top member in my opinion, so this is probably why I thought he would cruise his way to the finals.
Funky has been a very standout member to me, even before this game. He has a very iconic avi, but besides that, I was always convinced that he would show up and provide great entries.
Was there anyone who were really surprised by?
JakeKills really surprised me. In a good way. I saw top member potential in him near the beginning of the cycle. I just did not think he would he would not be able to stand the competition with other strong players such as Superpower and Subomie. It goes without saying that I was still happy to see him advance to the finals. He deserved his win as he's shown consistency and improvement with his entries from the start.
Aside from JakeKills, which members from this cycle do you think will also step up and become big members around the forum?
In addition to the two runner ups A Bomb and Superpower, I do think that conatus is well on his way to becoming a big member here. He's been kind of a silent, laid-back member in his earlier days, but I think he's emerging and being noticed by a lot of people these days.
Out of all the contestants which one of them left us too soon?
T-Swizz left very early. He's always had solid entries and has been a strong contestant in all of the games he's participated in. I knowhe had outside things going on, but I would have loved to see how far he would get through this competition. I feel like he could have gotten at least to the top five.

1. You (obviously)
2. Edge (or someone comparable)
3. A prominent member or previous contestant (ie: Cupid, Umich)
4. The winner of the previous cycle (hi)
5. A wildcard.
As much as I love supa, I don't think that he maintained enough of a presence in this thread to merit him holding a position as a regular judge. To be fair, I don't really remember Umich being around much either.
I'd also suggest using fewer mods as guest judges. Bring back more past winners + contestants.

I made a mistake and tried to quickly re-word it so that it was more than one.
I would love names outside of those who have not judged this game before or have not even judged in any Games.
