Just kidding
But really, I was just listening to Lemonade and realised how basic 'Sorry' is The whole "I ain't saarri" is just...
But I found the line "Big homey better grow up" quite interesting...

Sorry has never been a favourite but I like it, I like the breakup message about it, how little she cares about him in the lyrics.
For example:
“Me and my ladies sip my D'ussé cup
I don't give a ****, chucking my deuces up”
Usually after a betrayal you’d not want to support your ex in any way, but she cares so little that she has no problem still drinking his drinks, it doesn’t bother her.
The lines such as:
“Suck on my balls, pause, I had enough”
Lemonade has so many references to other Beyoncé songs, from the All Night reference of Drunk in Love, Countdown in Hold Up and here where she takes back the Single Ladies “put your hands in his face” and this time:
“Middle fingers up, put them hands high
Wave it in his face, tell him, boy, bye”
And the reference to what he calls himself in Crazy in Love mixed with her confidence in her and her child being fine without him:
“Me and my baby, we gon' be alright
We gon' live a good life
Big homie better grow up”
PLUS THE ICONIC
BECKY WITH THE GOOD HAIR LINE.
I mean, you may not like it but it’s a pretty great, important song for the album. The fact that it’s the most trendy just illustrates that this the party song, this is the “I don’t care about you” song, it’s not trying, it’s just for the fun of it. The whole album is so carefully crafted it’s wonderful. If you all have not listened to Switched on Pop’s podcast about Hold Up, please do, they go into great detail about how the sonic mood is carefully made for the placement in the album, specifically how it always teases a release that never comes until you get to Don’t Hurt Yourself. Beyoncé is making albums people!
