It peaked #2 in its first week, I think - without the original doing much damage. The original was at #44 at 1 month 1 week when the remix was removed, and didn't go top ten until the next day; then, a few days later, they rereleased the remix and both occupied some slot in the top ten (briefly holding #2 and #3 together) for three days together. On that third day, the remix hit #1 and the original dropped out of the top 10 a day later.
It had a very different chart run. To be fair, though, it was competing with BTW's second full week, which had pretty huge sales itself and didn't drop from #1 for ten more days.
