She was referring to other female pop stars—"all of them"—and acknowledged her own guilt: "We know you've got it. I got it too. I've taken it off for—I've taken it out here and there."

A week or so ago, Katy Perry made some comments about Lady Gaga’s use of religious symbols in her video for ‘Alejandro’. From CNN.com,
The video featured Gaga slipping rosary beads into her mouth and a crucifix painted on the crotch of her skin-tight wardrobe. Perry tweeted the same day the video premiered: “Using blasphemy as entertainment is as cheap as a comedian telling a fart joke.”
Perry grew up in a very religious household, with both her parents being ministers. Katy later said, “I’m the hugest lady Gaga fan, but I’m also the hugest Jesus Christ fan!” well hey, that’s all fine and dandy. But it’s ridiculous for her to be making these comments when the single that made her famous was called “I kissed a girl” and featured her and a bunch of other girls (including Kesha, weirdly!) half naked and all rubbing up on each other. But I guess that’s totally PC, right? I mean, not like that’s 100% TOTALLY AND COMPLETELY REBELLING AGAINST YOUR STRICT CHRISTIAN UPBRINGING. Plus, how about her newest cover for Esquire: (under the cut because it’s NSFW)
