Britney Spears ‘Will Add Dubai Date To World Tour’
Britney Spears has agreed to perform a concert in Dubai later this year, a leading events promoter has said.
A senior executive at AEG Live said the US pop singer would add the city at the end of her current tour, the Circus Tour Secrets, which has been billed as her comeback.
“Bringing Britney Spears to Dubai will be a massive hit – we can see all the communities getting into it and the show being an unprecedented sell out,” said the source on condition of anonymity.
The executive said the organizers could not release an official statement until all of the show’s sponsors had been signed up.
“Britney is confirmed 100 per cent, it is just a matter of working out the finer details, getting all the promoters on board and happy.”
The official added: “An announcement will be made shortly. It’s imminent.”
AEG Live, which established a permanent office in Dubai last year, has brought such stars as Iron Maiden and Kylie Minogue to the city in the past few months.
The official hinted that the show would be at an outdoor venue after the summer.
He added: “We have a number of venues that want to hold the show. And we will choose the one we see fit and can accommodate a large number of people.
“Britney is the type of star that will attract people from all the communities that live in the UAE.”

Bitch, were you at either of the shows? I don't think you could even afford so keep on with your Youtube videos or your DVDs. She sung live in Atlanta, it was very clear. Pre-recorded would be obvious like in her "Womanizer" performances. She didn't sing live in EVERY song, but she did sing live during "Circus", "Everytime", "Me Against The Music", etc. Her backing track is too loud on the Youtube videos to even recognize.
Now could you PLEASE leave and get ready for your bootleg copy of Beyonce's fail tour. I mean Britney has already sold 700k tickets, all her shows are sold out, and is already nearing $2,000,000 in revenue. Last time I checked, Beyonce couldn't even sell $30M of her last tour, and couldn't even sell out all of her dates, so it's apparent who people want to see LIVE or not.

The Atlanta show was confirmed sold out by news stations here (and to add the fact that every seat was filled in the arena), and Larry said himself the morning of the New Orleans show that all of the dates were sold out except 2 cities, so I think that's good enough.

Yeah I really don't think she sang live on this tour. But I'll wait for newer videos, maybe she only lipped the first show? But youtube DOES pick up the live voice under and/or over the recorded vocal fyi. So if she sang live at all, we'd hear it.
