100 BEST SONGS EVER · #16 - 14
♫"You got my heart, don’t know how you did it. And I don’t care who sees it, babe. I don’t wanna hide the way I feel when you're next to me."♫
16 · ARIANA GRANDE f/ MAC MILLER, "The Way" Debut Date: April 6, 2013 Weeks on Chart: 4 Weeks Peak Position: #12
Ariana follows up the mediocre "Put Your Hearts Up" with the gigantic R&B track "The Way". The best thing about this track is its nostalgic 90s beats and melody which always gives me a throwback of Mariah's classics. Plus, the hooks are extremely catchy that it's so fun to sing along with, especially when Ariana mumbles the lyrics a bit fast. And I must commend Mac Miller's rap verse, it's as good as Ariana's parts.

15 · MIKA f/ ARIANA GRANDE, "Popular Song" Debut Date: June 15, 2013 Weeks on Chart: 12 Weeks Peak Position: #01[1]
After numerous sets, a back-to-back appearance. I actually came across "Popular Song" when its video was released but I never paid attention to it. However, I've heard it once on radio and I instantly got hooked into it. It's such a bop! I was never a fan of "Grace Kelly" so I was surprised to learn that this one came from MIKA. He did an amazing job here. So as to Ariana. Good thing he decided to re-record the song and gave it a better flavor.
FLASHBACK 2012: TAYLOR SWIFT, "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" 2011: KELLY CLARKSON, "Mr. Know It All" 2010: ALEXANDRA BURKE, "All Night Long" 2009: A.R. RAHMAN f/ PUSSYCAT DOLLS, "Jai Ho! (You Are My Destiny)"
♫"Then maybe we wouldn't be two worlds apart, but right here in each other's arms. And we almost, we almost knew what love was. But almost is never enough."♫
14 · ARIANA GRANDE f/ NATHAN SYKES, "Almost Is Never Enough" Debut Date: August 24, 2013 Weeks on Chart: 11 Weeks Peak Position: #01[1]
And now this is what I'm referring to as triple threat - back-to-back-to-back appearances courtesy of Ariana Grande. Of all the singles Ariana released (4/5 in the Top 30), this would definitely be my favorite. Why? It sounds lovely and sincere. The lyrics are heartbreaking yet realistic. The delivery is heartfelt and emotional. The vocals are perfect and impressive. This song actually made me love Ariana's entire discography and appreciate Nathan's vocals. He can even actually go solo. Ultimately one of the best ballads of 2013.
