Plenty of videos have fallen off from #5, even #4. It's just uncommon nowadays because the countdown is too stable.

Hoobastank's "Crawling in the Dark" also fell off from #3. That video has the most unpredictable run in TRL's history.

I know that years ago, they did a percentage thing and I think it was the Backstreet Boys or N'Sync who had like 49% of the votes.
