A new Gnarls Barkley video tomorrow? Could it be "Gone Daddy Gone?" I guess I'll have to tune in tomorrow to find out.
Here is my ideal countdown for October 18, 2006.
15. Jessica Simpson - I Belong To Me (I decided that Jessica Simpson sounds annoying when she's singing the chorus. That is why I put her video lower than JoJo's video. Also, it looks like she's not having fun like she was in "A Public Affair.")
14. JoJo - Too Little Too Late (If the fans decide which song is to be her next single, I'd like to hear some tracks off of The High Road. Her debut album was really boring except for two or three songs. I hope she does some songs over 100 BPM for once.)
13. Vanessa Hudgens - Come Back To Me
12. Jay Z - Show Me What You Got (I wish I could ride on the boat with Jay Z and attend the party. He sure looks like a multi-millionaire in this video living large. I hope this falls off for Evanescence tomorrow.)
11. Beyonce - Ring The Alarm (I wish this video could retire earlier than in seven TRL days. Spare me from Beyonce's annoying yelling.)
9. Akon f/ Eminem - Smack That
8. Christina Aguilera - Hurt (A good video from her, but the song is so sad. Not quite as tear-jerking as Kelly Rowland's "Stole" but it sounds like Christina shed some tears while recording this song. If it made my countdown, it would spend a few days in the top ten and then I'd get tired of it.)
7. Panic! At The Disco - Lying Is The Most Fun A Girl Can Have... (How do the people with their heads in fish tanks breathe? I hypothesize they used snorkels before filming while their tanks were being filled with water. Another theory, the fish tanks were empty while the people used them.)
6. The All-American Rejects - It Ends Tonight (This video was filmed on an Indian reservation outside Las Vegas? I didn't know that.)
5. Evanescence - Call Me When You're Sober (Below this spot, I don't really care what happens to the video on TRL as long as it doesn't keep Evanescence from retirement. They were one spot away from cracking the top ten, so fans of Evanescence got together and rallied for more votes. I want to see this retire.)
4. MCR - Welcome To The Black Parade (I don't want this to fall off for something inferior to The All-American Rejects if it has to fall off.)
3. Lady Sovereign - Love Me Or Hate Me (Same spot on TRL and my ideal countdown for today. But passed by Justin Timberlake instead of Pink.)
2. Pink - U + UR Hand (I wish she'd go back up tomorrow, past Jessica Simpson.)
1. AFI - Love Like Winter (I guess the Despair faction got their act together and voted them up to #2. The gap to #1 is two percentage points 12% vs 14%. I don't know whether that's out of ten thousand votes or ten million votes, or somewhere in between like three hundred thousand votes.)
