So apparently they only got to hear 6 songs and not the full album
Here's the first review that doesn't really give us anything new except to go into this album with an open mind.
Quote:
So I went to the Dallas album listening party today, it was quite amazing, if I do say so. We listened to six songs off of the album, one being Still Into You. We also listened to Fast In My Car, Ain’t It Fun, Daydreaming, and a few others.
Personally, I loved the songs. I think they were great and I loved them and I’m so excited about the album. There were definitely some more pop influences in the songs. One we listened to, the part 2 to Let The Flames Begin was a bit closer to stuff they have put out in the past I think. But the songs do sound good with their pop influences.
Fast In My Car, I think, personally to me was about Taylor, Hayley, and Jeremy moving on from the changes they’ve been going through and coming out stronger and still being together as a band and producing music. Something like that, I’ve sort of been on a buzz all day, haha.
I really liked Ain’t It Fun, that might have been my favorite, besides Part ll, out of what we listened to. It was about someone going out into the real world and living and it was really great. It had a part that sounded a bit like a community gospel type thing and it was nice, I think it was great.
However, despite changes in the sound of Paramore, I would not say that it “was not Paramore,” as some people think because, to put it plainly, the sound of “Paramore” is whatever music Paramore is making, not the stuff in the past, what they’re putting out now. People change and so does music, you can’t expect them to not change their music as they are people, and people change.
I think everyone should go into listening to the album with an open mind, keeping in mind that people and music all change. Don’t be narrow-minded out it, just go, get the album, and listen without any pre-conceived opinions about the music you’re going to hear because it will be different, yes, but it is still Paramore.
Hope this is okay, and doesn’t sound stupid, because I honestly still cannot believe this day happened, so my mind is racing a bit and I hope I didn’t get anything wrong or leave anything out. So yeah, sorry if I did.

I think 100K is a safe bet, even though Now did end up tanking. And by the way, it would have at least charted on the Hot 100 if the rules hadn't changed the way they did.

Sales were way bigger back then than today. Plus, thanks to Twilight they had some sort of buzz.
Sales are **** nowadays, besides there's no hype whatsoever and Now tanked.
I'll be happy if we get 100k. For a pessimist, i'm pretty optimistic!

New fan review from a listening party!
Quote:
Paramore is back and better than ever
Ok I am literally posting this right as I get out of the listening party so it'll probably be kind of random and rambly
Paramore came out and briefly chatted and introduced the album, then left as we listened to 6 songs.
First song was fast in my car. It had a hard pop-rock vibe. My friend said it reminded her of the summer set (musically), everything's fine-era. Began with a cool little drum break.
Next song was daydreaming. We've already heard the chorus but it sounds even better with the music. I can't quite remember anything more right now but I'll probably add more as I go. Old influences like saves the day and jimmy eat world. Maybe a little more awkif sounding.
Then they played still into you. We've heard it before but one of them stuck their hand outside of the curtain and did the hand puppet. May have been Taylor.
They played let it happen (I think that's what it's called) **NOT CALLED LET IT HAPPEN THAT WAS JUST SOME OF THE LYRICS IGNORE ME**. My hands are frozen rn so my typing is getting worse. It was kind of a slow jam, like a happier we are broken (according to my friend). I think it was grow up because they played the first 7-8 songs on the album minus Now and interlude. ***been brought to my attention that it may have been "last hope." my bad!
Ain't it fun was GREAT. Definite r&b vibe, even without the gospel choir. Pre-chorus sounds like a rock version of suit & tie. Also comparable to 80s pop-rock. Def a song to "groove" to.
Part ii was also really good. They referenced brand new eyes in the beginning (butterflies with pins in their wings) and used some of the phrasing/rhythm from ltfb but with a different melody. Also used some of the same rhythms. There was a breakdown that went on for like a minute and then it went into the monster outro.
Overall the new songs have the edgier sound that BNE had but used the happier major chords and faster tempos like riot. Definitely a fun album.
Random things: did a q&a and they were all really funny and happy. Taylor kept playing with the mic stand while Hayley was talking. Hayley likes Japan because the clothes fit her there. Taylor and Jeremy talked about the gear they used to record, and how Hayley didn't want to go into the vocal booth. "No, Hayley, we're making a professional record, go to the vocal booth." They were asked what one album they would take with them on a deserted island and it devolved into a discussion about tiki bars. Jeremy said he liked my dress. We told Taylor that ain't it fun sounded like suit & tie and someone should make a mash up and he told us to do it and we were like "ooookay".

With only 15 days left until we hear the new album (Thursday, April 4th 8:00 A.M EST), here's another interview with a bit more information about the new tracks.
ILM: I've just listened to the track 'Last Hope'. You sing about how a last hope got you through some difficult times but you never mention exactly what that last hope is? What's the meaning behind that track? What is your last hope?
Hayley: I mean for me, always no matter what... um. There's a lot of change, a lot of inconsistencies in life. For me, and I think for all three of us, faith has been something that is consistent in our lives. That's not something that happens very often in life. There's not many constants. So faith is a big one. It's like that thread that we were hanging on to. You know, I think having some sort of spiritual purpose really led me to not throw it all away or not give up on myself, on all of us. I felt like we wouldn't be brought all the way to this point for nothing, just to be like, "ok. Cool. See you later." You know? Being in this band was about something greater than we even know. It's just this connection to human beings. It's really great. It's this fulfilling life that we're so lucky to have.
ILM: 'Ain't It Fun' contains the lyric "Ain't it fun living in the real world." How hard is it for you to live in the real world? To adjust back into everyday life? You have had enormous success as Paramore. Not many people get to experience the things you do.
Jeremy: It is pretty hard for us to adjust getting back into normal things! Just because...we work so much. We're gone all the time. We're not here, we're there. We're all over the place. If we're not doing that, then we're trying to find some creative spot in our heads to write another record and start that all over again. So, I think it was really hard for us at first. It took us a long time to adjust. But once we did, I mean, we loved just being able to have our own life. To be at home and start to create a schedule for yourself instead of one that's just slid under the door by someone else!
ILM: I've seen the track listing and I'm very intrigued by the three 'Interludes'. What can you tell us about those?
Hayley: Um...they're just little, sort of, ditties. There's ukulele involved!
ILM: Ooo. Very nice.
Taylor: Haha! Well, I try! It was very much, sort of, when we first started writing for the album we tried to write songs like we had done in the past. So there'd be a very energetic, melodic guitar riff, with really heavy guitars behind it and big choruses, very complicated...and we were just not inspired. But that was what we were used to doing. So we wrote the interludes when we didn't really know what to do! They were a way to get past that. Like, OK, we're just going to use a ukulele in a song, play a funky bass part and sing silly lyrics. I think having the interludes made us put the record together differently. I don't know. I just think those had to be written in order for us to write the rest of the songs. I don't know why, but it just felt like the minute we finished those, it kind of took off.
Hayley: There's a lot of humour in them! I think that was good for us because there were days where it wasn't coming together and we needed something to break that tension and let us know that this is fun! This is what we're doing, this is what we love, it's not all that detrimental to have a good time doing it.
ILM: Lastly, will the ukulele be coming out on stage?
Taylor: Oh you know it will!

This is apparently the official cover for the deluxe edition. Still don't know if it's going to be sold in stores, but this is the cover that comes with the Deluxe Boxset.
