Listen..OMG was a "pop song" that got 2 #3 on Urban. PTA is just as melodic, and with the Trini themed vid I think it'll help cross it over. That and the dance Dont think itll get to #3 but it will help.

I said this in another thread today. OMG has a LOT of urban qualities, and an R&B breakdown at the end, plus the cheering/chanting which is popular in urban music, and it has urban percussion. Pound the Alarm has no urban qualities at all.

Some of Nicki's pop songs like Va Va Voom and Marilyn Monroe would probably go top 10 on urban (and Super Bass did), but Pound the Alarm won't. Low top 50 on urban at the very best.

I think it's too early for a video, the Olympic hype in the UK would just overshadow it so it wouldn't really have an effect here and it's too early in the U.S.
