When i say flash in the pan its meant as she was huge for an era of music only...it may have been a reach but if Whitney can still scan 2 million WW then theres no reason Janet shouldn't be album to...no artist should reach the peaks she did and not be able to be certified...considering the exposure she gets from movies and the fact that she isnt deterring away from her past hits with her current music...

Let's not generalize. There are other songs in her catalog that have made impact, but while Beyoncé doesn't possess as many iconic songs as janet or other acts, she is most likely the most sought after artist when it comes to things very important in history and ICONIC events.
