If he performs at the VMAs which track would you like to see him perform/which one do you think he will perform?
I'd love to see him perform "Ivy" in a bed of flowers kind of like TLC's "Unpretty" video in a bright colored suit with a live band doing a new rendition.
Frank Ocean’s Blonde is heading for #1 on the U.K.’s Official Albums Chart strictly from iTunes downloads—it's available for £7.99—and Apple Music streams. So how are the numbers stacking up?
Released via Ted Cockle’s UMG imprint Virgin EMI in Blighty, Blonde had been downloaded 14.2k times after its first day of release on 8/20. That’s without Apple Music numbers which weren’t yet available. Predictors are predicting first-week sales and streams to total 40k. By comparison, Beyoncé’s Lemonade (RCA in the U.K.)— an iTunes and Tidal exclusive—notched 73k combined sales in its first week on sale in the U.K. in May, 10k of those being streaming equivalents on Tidal. Blonde is likely to be Ocean’s first #1 album in Blighty (Channel Orange hit #2 in 2012).
Frank Ocean is set for his first No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 chart with his new album, Blonde, according to industry forecasters. The album was released on Aug. 20 exclusively for sale through the iTunes Store and to stream via Apple Music.
Sources suggest the album could debut at No. 1 with upward of 225,000 to 250,000 equivalent album units earned in the week ending Aug. 25.
