15. Chris Brown “Forever”
Chris Brown decided to re-release his Exclusive album this year and one of the tracks that stand out from that album is Forever. Forever is probably the best dance hit that Chris Brown released. The lyrics and the tune are both good to hear. Chris Brown proves that his music is improving and getting better. Forever is one of the most popular songs here and it has played for about 5 months. This song did well in my personal countdown peaking at #1 seven times on my daily top 10 and 2 weeks at my hit chart. Chris Brown had a good 2008 thanks to his music and I'm sure if he release a new album, his fans and those who love his songs will support him. Expect one more song from Chris Brown in my list later on the next updates.

14. Britney Spears “Break The Ice”
Britney Spears appears for the first time in my list with Break The Ice. This song is the best track from her album Blackout. The inviting sound and the heartbeat tune made this the stand-out track among all her songs. The video is a disappointment though as Britney did an animated video for this one. If she only did a music video which she personally appear on, this could be a bit higher in my list. Nevertheless, it doesn't stop me to adore the song. Britney is telling in Break The Ice about her long break from the music and she delivers it on the line
"It's been awhile, I shouldn't have kept you waiting". Well, the wait is over, Britney's first attempt of a comeback isn't that overwhelming but these days, she is everywhere and being talked about especially with her latest music.

13. Katy Perry “I Kissed A Girl”
The most controversial new artist of 2008 is at #13 with the single that everyone is questioning about. Katy Perry surely made everyone asking about kissing girls with her smash hit I Kissed A Girl. At first, I'm really astonished, I mean by just seeing the name of the artist and the title of the song; a female artist singing that she kissed a girl. I Kissed A Girl slowly grew on me and after a couple of weeks, I didn't notice that I'm actually liking the song. This song is also crowned as the summer song for 2008. Pretty impressive for a new artist. With Katy's accomplishment so far, it's not impossible that she will surprise as more with her music. I'm surely looking forward what 2009 is in store for Katy Perry.
