I was listening to IASF today and realized it could've easily had 3 #1 singles. "Sweet Dreams" went to the top 10 with no promo and it was leaked like a whole year before it was officially released. One performance in the US would've got that to number 1. And Radio was obviously a #1 smash waiting to happen.

That's true. I'm still mad she didn't perform Sweet Dreams at the VMAs, that one performance would've shot Sweet Dreams right to #1. Radio was an obvious smash and if Gaga would've been on that song it would've smashed even harder.
I don't understand why people think just because it had some synths in it that it was destined for the top 10. It should've went to Willow Smith. Thank God she moved on to better things.

Dont forget IIWAB, although I love dual singles that was one instance where it went wrong, that and Halo probably would've gotten there without SL and Diva

The other #1 hit from the album was clearly Halo.
Radio is a great song and had it been send to radio with GaGa on a remix it would've smash hard as hell without a doubt

A lot of songs we think are terrible go #1, anyways.

Radio was already a top 20 hit in the Netherlands without a official single release, they just started to play it on the radio. The even used the song later for some radio commercials. Radio was radio-friendly and I think it would've done well after Sweet Dreams on Pop radio. Halo could've been #1 but it didn't.

And the only reason the VP flopped so hard was because Columbia never sent the song out to radio. The original was sent to urban radio only and then cancelled. The remix's non-acknowledged digital release & video came way too late after the fact. Who's the say the same couldn't have happened to an extended remix of Radio?
Radio is a mess, except for the fantastic vocals l am happy she never released the **** as a single.
Bey (or the bey stans) never had this "#1 mentality" back in the day.l didnt care to much for SD not topping charts cause l was too happy she put the song on the album,l am grateful she did because this girl sometimes ..
