- when A began decapitating that doll, all I could think of was Aria's comment about "twisting Mona's head off."
- why would this A need to be spying on Mona? Do you think Mona knew this A was recording them and that's what 'not safe' meant?
The codes
'Miss Aria, you're a killer, not Ezra's wife' = Maya knew
'Where were we? Maya's away, sleeping sweet. Until Garrett's all rosy, count on me' = www.massugar.com
'No one to save Ali from evil' = not safe
Mona's saying "Please wait, I miss my dolls." At the end. When you take the first letters of all the words it says: PW IMMD
PW = Password = IMMD !
the Mona/Aria theory
Quote:
Mona did not want to talk to Aria.....to the extent that she used the code in FRONT of Aria. Remember, in the flashback, she said it's a code we can use right in front of people so they won't know we're talking about them? Aria was right in front of them, so Mona was talking about Aria, and add the fact that she called her a killer. The Aria theory lives!
'Pretty Little Liars' Star Janel Parrish Thinks Mona Should 'Wreak Havoc'
Oh, the complicated little webs woven in that sleepy and quaint little town of Rosewood. The constant drama on "Pretty Little Liars" seems to act as a warning that you really can't trust anyone. And Mona—what the heck is that girl up to from her hospital bed? "Not safe"? Hmmm...
When MTV News recently caught up with Janel Parrish, a.k.a. the lovely actress who plays the lady in question, we asked her which team Mona is really playing for and if the liars are in for a rude awakening any time soon.
"Mona, she's been extremely unpredictable which makes it so much fun to play," Janel told us at the Teen Choice Awards. "I think that's the biggest question and that's what so intriguing with Mona, you don't know whose side she's on, if she's playing [the liars] or if she really wants to help them; if she's really pulling the strings or if she's working for someone, all of these things will be addressed in season three," she teased expertly with a knowing smile. "I think it's going to be an amazing season."
Fine, it's going to be amazing. We can get down with that, especially because we know Janel would be in big trouble if she spilled too many secrets. We then asked her what she would have Mona do if she were in charge of the action, or what her hopes and dreams are for the character.
"I want her to get out of the hospital and wreak havoc on Rosewood," Janel said. "I don't know that it would happen, but I'm down for it."
Somehow, we think where there's a Mona will, there's a Mona way.
Pretty Little Liars' Brendan Robinson: Lucas "Knows Information" - Exclusive
We can’t be the only ones who find Lucas from Pretty Little Liars a little bit creepy, right? What is up with his change from friend-zoned sweetie to moody lurker? Wetpaint Entertainment caught up with Brendan Robinson, the actor who portrays Lucas, at the Staples for Students Teen Choice Awards after party at The Globe Theater in Universal City, CA on Sunday, July 22, to talk about Lucas’s recent change.
Wetpaint Entertainment: What can we expect from Lucas the rest of the season? Brendan Robinson: Maybe some creepiness. Maybe some adorableness. I don’t know. It could go both ways with Lucas.
What is Lucas’s involvement with A?
That’s a good question. To be honest with you, I don’t even know yet because they are still writing episodes. And if I knew I wouldn’t be able to say. I’d be bound to secrecy with a ball and chain.
They keep you in the dark just as much as us?
Absolutely. They do.
How far in advance do you get a script?
Only two days before we start shooting.
So you just lock yourself in your apartment and study it?
Absolutely. It’s intense but only for the first couple of days. Once you get into the rhythm of it, it gets more natural.
What do you do to prepare for your character?
You know just putting myself in a situation where I’m thinking about certain things. I think when people appear creepy, I feel like nobody goes out of their way to be creepy. It’s just sort of a natural thing. Or they are trying to protect themselves in some way. It’s a barrier; it’s a wall that they put up. I try to think of a situation that would be threatening to me and how I would react to that.
When you get your script for the week, does it say, “Be creepy” at the top?
Not so bluntly but in a way it does. Sometimes it will say like, “A bad attitude Lucas walks into the hallway” or something like that. Not as flat and dry as creepy. They give me a little bit to work with but in television as opposed to film, you don’t get a lot of rehearsal time so you have to make a lot of your decisions at home and bring a finished performance to the set that day because we move very quickly. We shoot about 8 pages a day out of a 60-page script.
What’s up with the recent bizarre behavior?
Honestly I think that the whole deal with Lucas is that he knows information. He knows some secret information that could either be of benefit to the girls or it could be of danger to the girls. It’s kind of up in the air. It could go both ways. He could be trying to help the or at the same time he could be trying to help the A team or whoever is against the girls at this point. But he definitely has information that is of value.

Pretty Little Liars' Ian Harding: Ezra "Is Not As Good As He's Made Out to Be" - Exclusive
Ezra has been acting pretty suspicious during the last couple of episodes of Pretty Little Liars, and that sock drawer full of cash isn’t helping us think that he isn’t up to something. Armed with this suspicion, Wetpaint Entertainment spoke to Ian Harding (Ezra) at the 2012 Teen Choice Awards on Sunday, July 22, to talk about Ezra, that bag of cash, and an upcoming Ezra-related shocker.
Wetpaint Entertainment: We’ve established that “A” is you. Ian Harding: I really hope so, because that would just be a nice little wench in the spokes of a loving storyline. Like, ‘Just kidding! I’m a sociopath!’
What does that hidden bag of money mean for Ezra at this point?
What can I actually say without getting fired? It means a lot. It comes with a lot of baggage, quite literally. It’s going to be an interesting reveal. And it’s kind of a one-two-punch reveal. You’ll come to find out why it happened in two stages. It’s going to be awesome.
Is it something that can put the relationship between Aria and Ezra in jeopardy?
Oh, naturally. I can’t have a couple of thousand lying in my sock drawer and it not be a questionable thing. Like, ‘Oh, it’s alright – now we can eat out more!’ He doesn’t cook. It’s insane.
Is it a mean streak we haven’t been aware of?
I don’t know if it’s necessarily a mean streak, but he’s not as good as he’s made out to be. I mean, apart from his relationship with a high schooler he’s a pretty stand up guy. So, that’s going to called into question.
Is that not shocking, considering how long we’ve thought that Ezra is a decent guy?
It’s going to be shocking. There’s going to be a few, like, ‘NO!’ [reactions] when you come to find out what it is. But it will be worth it.
Is it something we will have seen hints of?
No. It’s going to be from left field.
So you were surprised as well then, I take it?
Oh yeah, when I read the script I went, [raises eyebrows] ‘Ohhhh…Awesome!’ So I’m really excited about it.
Anything you can tease about the finale?
It’s going to be nuts, but I feel like I say that every year. There are a few cliffhangers but it’s not like, unanswered question, unanswered question, unanswered question galore. But you’re going to have to come back in January.
And the Halloween episode?
It’s going to be sick. I do get to be in it, it’s going to be nuts.

Pretty Little Liars Burning Question: Did Spencer Already Know Mona's Code?
On Pretty Little Liars Season 3, Episode 7: “Crazy,” Mona (Janel Parrish) gave the Liars cryptic messages using a code that theoretically only she and Hanna (Ashley Benson) knew about. However a different Little Liar translated the messages awfully quickly for someone who didn't know anything about the code before the end of the episode.
The writer who scripted the episode, Andy Reaser, cryptically tweeted about it, saying, "Is it just me or did Spencer solve that code awfully fast... #pll."
Before we saw that tweet, we chalked Spencer's (Troian Bellisario) quick thinking up to her intelligence and the fact that watching the Liars puzzle out each letter would be boring. However, now we're not so sure.
We trust Spence, and we don't know why she would lie about not knowing the code if she did — unless she's secretly involved with the "A" team or Mona. Could that be possible? Or is Andy just joking around and messing with fans' minds? The PLL writers do like to toy with us...
What do you think: Did Spencer's quick thinking ping alarm bells for you, or is she just very smart and good with words?

Pretty Little Liars Burning Question: How Did Nate Know About the Earrings Emily Got Maya?
On Pretty Little Liars Season 3, Episode 7: “Crazy”, our suspicions about Maya’s (Bianca Lawson) so-called cousin Nathan grew after one comment he made to Emily (Shay Mitchell) while they shopped for a present for Jenna (Tammin Sursok). And it made us wonder if Nathan has been entirely honest about his identity, and his real reasons for being in Rosewood.
While Emily was begrudgingly tagging along with Nate while he perused scarves and jewelry for Jenna as a first-date gift, Nate picked up a pair of hoop earrings with what looked like little flowers on them. Emily immediately recognized them as the earrings she bought for Maya a week before she died. So far, so normal, right?
When Emily told Nate this, he said, “I know.” Emily looked perturbed, most likely wondering the same thing we were: How could Nate have known about the earrings if he hadn’t seen Maya the week she went missing? After all, Maya disappeared for about a week before her body was found. Was Nate lying about the last time he’d seen his cousin?
His explanation was that maybe he’d seen them in a picture or something, but that didn’t sit well with Emily or us. Adding to our suspicions about him, Nate made an offhand comment about how he would be trying to woo “the hottest girl in Rosewood,” i.e. Emily, if she were into guys.
That’s an incredibly awkward thing to say to the girlfriend of your dead cousin, especially in such a flirty way. Shouldn’t he still be grieving if Maya was, indeed, family?
The whole exchange made us wonder if Nate might be part of the plot to kill Maya. Maybe he’s the guy that Maya hooked up with at True North, and has been stalking her and Emily. Or maybe he’s on the “A” team, and he’s just hanging around to make sure Emily doesn’t learn anything that could point in their direction.

“Spencer [Troian Bellisario] uncovers Paige’s surprising past with Ali [Sasha Pieterse].”
-So the title is a play on the 1992 movie titled Single White Female which is about a girl and her psycho roommate. Coincidentally, Allison is the name of the main character in the movie. So could Paige be the crazy roommate?
Season 3, Episode 12: “The Lady Killer”
“Maya’s murderer is revealed, and Emily is caught in the middle.”
-Seems like Emily is sympathetic to Maya's murderer. Otheriwse, she would just be filled with anger right? So I guess it's just between Paige and Nate now..
Pretty Little Liars Burning Question: What Guy Did Maya Hook Up With at True North?
One of the more painful moments in Emily (Shay Mitchell) and Maya’s (Bianca Lawson) relationship on Pretty Little Liars occurred when Maya returned to Rosewood in Season 2. Maya had spent time at True North, a rehab-meets-reform school, after her parents caught her with pot in her room, and she’d hooked up with a guy while there.
Thanks to PLL fan @iaddictedtoPLL, we've been reminded of this burning question: Who do you think that guy was? It's possible it was just a random guy we've never met, but what if it was a character we know?
We know that Maya’s first preference is clearly girls, so it must have been someone impossibly gorgeous and intriguing, right? Two names come to mind, especially since Maya was spotted talking to them intimately in the weeks before she disappeared and, later, wound up dead.
In Season 2, Episode 18: “A Kiss Before Lying”, Emily is still reeling from the news that Maya hooked up with with someone else, let alone a guy. When she and her mom make dinner plans with Maya, Em walks into the restaurant and spots Maya talking to Noel Kahn (Brant Daugherty) in a flirty, almost intimate way. Maya claims that Noel was just helping her with her phone, but Emily doesn't seem to believe her. Could Noel be the guy that Maya had a fling with?
Then, in Season 2, Episode 20: “CTRL:A”, Spencer (Troian Bellisario) saw Maya talking to Jason (Drew Van Acker) in a similar, eerily familiar way, as if they knew each other. Jason never explains the conversation, but later that night, Maya gets stoned and demands that Emily run away to California with her. When Emily refuses, Maya leaves, and was never seen or heard from again.
Could it really be a coincidence that Maya had conversations with both Noel and Jason (who, we should point out, both have ties to the NAT club) just days before she skipped town? Could one of them be the guy she hooked up with? Jason would actually have a good reason to be at True North, since he counsels troubled kids for a living. And Noel, well, Noel is just hot. No explanation needed.
Who do you think Maya hooked up with? Is it someone we’ve never heard of or met before? And will we ever find out?

Pretty Little Liars Burning Question: Did Paige Kill Maya?
We’ve been trying to figure out who killed Maya (Bianca Lawson) on Pretty Little Liars ever since the Season 2 finale (Season 2, Episode 25: “UnmAsked”), but a new clue points to one of Rosewood’s most mysterious characters.
Read spoilers at your own risk! .
As we reported earlier, the synopsis for Season 3, Episode 11: “Single Fright Female” includes the following: “Spencer [Troian Bellisario] uncovers Paige’s [Lindsey Shaw] surprising past with Ali [Sasha Pieterse].” Since the focus of the final three episodes of the summer season is all about solving Maya’s murder, and it looks like Paige will be a huge focus of Episode 11, could Paige be the murderer?
Here are three reasons why Paige might have killed Maya.
1. Jealousy. Sometimes, as the rule of Occam’s Razor goes, the answer is the most obvious. In this case, Paige could have been extremely jealous of Maya because she’s extremely obsessed with Emily (Shay Mitchell). Killing Maya would be one crazy girl’s idea of a solution to that problem.
2. Paige acted on the “A” team’s behalf. Could Paige be on the “A” team? So far, now that Mona (Janel Parrish) is at Radley Sanitarium, the only thing we know about the “A” team is that they want to torture the Little Liars. If Paige knew Ali in the past, she could have joined forces with the “A” team out of a mutual hatred of her. If Maya found out about any of this, the "A" team might have subsequently killed her to keep her quiet. Why not have the athletic Paige do the deed?
3. Paige is a puppet. In this sneak peek of Season 3, Episode 8: “Stolen Kisses”, Paige seems almost afraid of Emily, or at the very least afraid to talk to her. It’s possible that someone (“A”?) is using Paige to gather intel on Emily and her grieving process. Now that Paige has tested the waters by flirting and failing to turn their party date in Season 3, Episode 5: “That Girl is Poison” into a romantic one, she may be off intel-duty. Something about Paige’s behavior suggests that she’s acting as someone’s puppet, much like Mona may have been. The question is: Who is the puppetmaster? And is he/she so powerful that they could have ordered Paige to kill Maya?
Do you think Paige killed Maya?

Pretty Little Liars' Troian Bellisario Teases Huge Season 3 Summer Finale Twist - Exclusive
The Pretty Little Liars cast is notoriously tight-lipped about spoilers, but when Wetpaint Entertainment caught up with Troian Bellisario (Spencer) at the 2012 Teen Choice Awards on Sunday, July 22, she let slip a few teases that make us even more excited for upcoming episodes.
Wetpaint Entertainment: The scene in last week’s episode, where Spencer breaks down, was amazing. What was that like to shoot? Troian Bellisario: Thank you! It was so much fun because I’ve always been asking — these girls have been stalked for over a year now — when is the point where they just lose it? There’s got to be a break down moment. And when Norman Buckley was directing the episode, he was like, “You’ve had it. Show me what you do when you’ve had it.” And I just got to run into the room and do whatever came.
Where do we go from here?
I think the girls are just so sick of ‘A’ and they’re ready to do anything to stop it. And I think their loves are as well. Toby and Caleb are going to go above and beyond to help the girls find out who ‘A’ is.
It’s about time. Enough with this, ‘What are we going to do?’
That’s got to go out the window. We need all the help we can get. They’re just at their wits’ end. They have to end it.
Is there a significant turning point?
We just shot the mid-season finale, so we’re halfway through our order, and we’re shooting the Halloween episode, which is going to be a blast. You guys are going to love it. But in the mid-season finale, I will tell you that the ‘A’ mystery is put on hold for this really frightening, other series of events that I did not see coming. It crops up and it just proves that danger is coming at the girls from all angles and not just ‘A’. I don’t even know if ‘A’ is aware at this point.
What can you say about the Halloween episode?
It’s a standalone [episode]. I can tell you that the girls make a bet to not tell anybody or each other what their costumes are going to be, but pick a movie, and then dress from that. We got to see our costumes two days ago, for the first time, on set and it’s above and beyond what last year was. It’s amazing.
Your boyfriend, Patrick J. Adams, told me he wants to be ‘A’, since he was on one episode in Season 1 as Ezra’s college roommate.
He should be ‘A’. Yeah. No one will see it coming, but he’s been there the whole time, in the bushes.
Is there ever any talk of you going on Suits or him returning to PLL?
We joke about it all the time, if there’s ever a role for a sexy intern that comes and messes with Mike Ross’s head, I’m first in line for the auditions. In fact, I tell the producers all the time, ‘Guys, seriously! There’s going to be great fax room scenes, it’s going to be smoldering!’

Tyler Blackburn Reveals Major Pretty Little Liars Summer Finale Spoilers, “Hope” for Haleb - Exclusive
In an exclusive interview with Wetpaint Entertainment, Pretty Little Liars star Tyler Blackburn (Caleb Rivers) revealed some new clues about “A,” the “men” in the Liars’ lives, and why Caleb really broke up with Hanna (Ashley Benson). Read on for answers to some of the craziest PLL questions ever.
Wetpaint Entertainment: Troian Bellisario recently told us that the guys are going to step up and start helping these chicks get rid of this maniac. Tyler Blackburn: Yes. Absolutely, very soon, very soon.
What can we expect to trigger that?
I can't really say what happens with that, but Caleb definitely loves the girls in a lot of ways. And he also does feel the wrath of “A.” “A” is a lot darker. The show gets pretty dark.
Is there power in numbers, though?
Truly. I think that's part of it. Truthfully, I think the girls are really fed up, as anybody would be. They're really fed up, and they need some reinforcements. Their relationships with the men in their lives, I think, got them so much stronger, and there's a trust there. So we've been inducted into their world of crazy.
Is there an event that brings them to that point?
I think it's different for each guy. So it's not for one big event. Caleb has always been the tech-savvy dude, and pretty smart, street smart, and I think he brings that to the table. But it's not like, this huge thing happens where he's like, “I need to help out.”
Are you relieved to finally stop asking questions?
Yeah. Absolutely. I mean I broke up with Hanna based on lies. So I'm not going to say too much about that, actually. But we definitely figure some things out, and I'm not being lied to anymore.
So there's hope in the relationship?
Yes.
Anything you can tease about the finale or the Halloween episode?
We're shooting the Halloween episode right now, and it's awesome. The costumes are really cool. I'm going to be the Phantom of the Opera. But the mid-season finale is explosive. It goes out with a bang. Let’s just put it that way.
