Maybe I'm just extremely ignorant to korea's market, but I dont see how releasing a single before an album lowers its sales? If anything, wouldn't it increase them seeing as people will want to hear the rest of the songs? I dont get how releasing 3 songs out of 10-12 on an album will lower the albums sales.
Look at japan, artists still smash with album sales over there and they usually release more than half of the songs on an album before its release.
