First of all, Exo isn't an image-based group. They don't have concepts that are aesthetically driven, like Red Velvet. Exo is a vocal and dance-based group, meaning, those two things are what's going to be highlighted. Their songs are crafted for harmonies and high notes, and their choreography is made to show off different genres that the main dancers individually excel in, such as ballet, interpretive, hip-hop, etc. Red Velvet has yet to exhibit any of these things, anywhere, because SM puts more time into their clothing and the cinematography of their videos than they do teaching the members how to dance, and sing, seeing as RV only has one main vocalist, who, objectively, isn't near being one of the best in SM.
Second of all, Exo has released
four albums. You chose
one song from a whole discography to somehow prove the point of, "SEEEEE, EXO has **** music too, they made Ülf! I'm so clever for posting thisS."
Sorry to break it to you, but "Wolf" was a strategic anomaly. SM will never give Exo another song that unpleasant and tacky again, because they don't need it to spark some kind of interest anymore. So you can go ahead and say that Wolf supersedes the rest of Exo's title tracks and B-sides if you want, but it won't change three obvious realities:
1. RV is basically f(x), except not as good
2. RVs singles, thus far, don't measure up to Exo's in sales,
or in popularity among Kpop listeners
3. The talent in Exo is greater than the talent in RV
tl;dr You didn't prove anything by posting Wolf (a song that, actually, quite a few people here like). What I said before still stands, but allow me to rephrase it. Just because you have a cool aesthetic doesn't mean you can release lousy music,
again and again.
