I have a good tether with Gaga, but imagining her turning around in a couple of months time and revealing a gigantic movie role kind of makes me a bit mad. Pursue acting if you want, but I'm here for your music as are many/the majority of your following. As I said earlier, she needs to sort out her priorities in that case.
But in relation to health/family issues, isn't her grandmother like well into 90s? i'd hope nothing was wrong with her.
I'd be keen for some other projects this year. It'd just be nice to know if we should be holding our breath daily for LG5 or chilling out. A full disclosure statement would be nice, maybe in the next month or so (if they know) have daily announcements of AHS roles, a movie role, a fashion project, etc. and just something like "before new music comes, I got some **** to do". Nothing in the vein of 'omg we have cancelled and pushed back things' but just a cute lil' memo.
As I said, artistically - a year / quarter or two of turning the C2C '15 material back into her Gaga stuff would be cool. Like turning her orchestral Nature Boy cover performed over the last two years into something dark, such as above, for a Mugler campaign. Us fans would note the change.
Bobby + Gaga have blown our minds. From AHS roles to National Anthems, magazine editorship to runways and fashion videos and the like, we would never have forecast or even suggested Gaga do these things - but they've been great. If LG5 isn't around for a while, and they don't plan on a media blackout, I'd love to see these things continue to flourish. This doesn't mean she has to do what you guys call; "acting like her 60 year old self" and doing jazz covers at every event - they could go different. AHS, V Mag, Tom Ford were all more in her original style. Like really, it could blow our minds, some of the non-music projects they have lined up.
Maybe she could please us from behind the scenes from now until September or October - co-write a movie soundtrack, become an artist in residence at Tisch, become the seasonal face or host of amFAR events, do something at MOMA or an international art association. These are exciting for us but don't need to attract the eye of mainstream media and GP to the point of saturation. or continue the respectable image but do it worldwide, late '14 to now have been very USA based - Asia, Australia and European media is way less versed on the whole "new, improved, talented gaga" story.
I'd rather they didn't say the album wasn't coming soon though. It pisses me off when Bobby shuts fans down on twitter. I'd also argue a media blackout is non-sensical when launching a rebranding. Like yeah she was pretty busy all of 2015 doing great things, but then what's the point in 8-10 months (or longer) of silence. If they want people to know of her coming back, she needs to stay in loop.

That being said, I don't believe the blind gossip is true. Mainly because I think it's too easy + obvious to insinuate (as the gossip starter), and I really don't think Gaga would ever seek out Terry again.
I think she knows music needs to come next. She's been shying away from it because she wants to keep everything on the hush, but I agree with you jack that it would be pretty silly to have done all that rebranding to hop right into a media blackout.
I think that blind gossip rumor just got started out of the hater who were saying she's worked with terry in the past despite his sexual assault issues in the past. It doesn't really make sense.

This might have something to do with her V Magazine photoshoot she did with him.
But uh, not to be hyperbolic, but I won't care about the era if she continues to work with Terry. I have to draw a line at how much hypocrisy I can take lol.
