Do NOT tell me you don't like his work on G.U.Y., Aura, and Donatella. Those three songs are better than the much of Clarity in my opinion. (Especially G.U.Y.)
I dream of a Gaga album with productions by Fernando Garibay, RedOne, Stargate, Zedd, Madeon, and DJWS. So basically a conglomerate of all we've gotten so far, plus Stargate. But I think she should try spreading out the songs evenly among producers, instead of giving one producer the majority of the album. I mean, it hasn't really bothered my thus far, but perhaps a little switch up in that field would be nice.
I'd also be here for a completely self-produced album. If she really sat down, practiced, and worked hard at it, it would be awesome. Venus is already proof that she can do it.

G.U.Y. is fine, albeit dated and not made for radio. He didn't do Aura and no, I don't like Donatella. The fact that it was one of his old b-sides doesn't make it better. He can so flawlessly produce hits like Clarity and Stay The Night and Break Free but breaks down when it comes to working with Gaga. I honestly don't get what happened.
People who say they want Gaga to work with Dr. Luke only want her to work with him for hits. The thing is, though. I don't think they would mesh well together. Dr. Luke would basically strip Gaga of what she is, thus removing her iconic Gaganess that makes her songs so great. Max Martin, on the other hand, is a pretty great producer, like a more talented version of Dr. Luke. Max is good at knowing and creating what people want while also being unique and creative. I'd love to see what he and Gaga could come up with.
DJWS remains her most talented and diverse producer, and he doesn't rely on the same formula over and over. Contrary to popular belief, talent =/= hit songs.
Max really is a great producer. He can work with everyone, and he's capable of adapting someone's sound for mainstream success while still keeping it true to who they are. I'd really like to see what he's capable of doing with Gaga.
Gaga is not working with Dr. Luke after the well-publicized "refrigerator" Kesha comment. Come on, now.
I personally want Daft Punk, Orbital, Rick Rubin, or Sia at some point. All are well known and respected without generic Top 40 hits being the cornerstone of their discogs, unlike Luke or Bonny McKee.

Gaga happened. You forgot the key thing with his other hits is that he did what he wanted with his tracks. In this case he was working with Gaga.
You guys always love to say that its mostly Gaga's righting and ideas for songs when they're hits but when it comes to songs you don't like, it's the producers fault.

Anyone here still intrigued what the original BTW track sounded like? I remember a fan heard the track first and said it was different... also rumored more rock sounding. I wonder if it was less ~cheesy than the official

Am I the only one who doesn't really want her to go all Adult Contemporary for #5? It's just so...played out. It's one of those ideas that labels get to make an artist artificially more interesting for an era, just like when an artist has a "sexy!!!" era out of nowhere.
