If Needed Me gets to 1m Anti will be the fourth album to get multiple songs at 1m after BBTM, Purpose, & Views (or 3rd depending on how you count Hotline Bling)

OD is killing it on Spotify. Drake just got his first top 10 (as a lead act) on the Spanish Singles Chart this week.

According to BB's 2015 Top Money Makers article today.
Quote:
Luke Bryan:
Bryan isn't just one of the top live acts in music. He finished sixth among all artists in combined physical and digital sales ($4 million) and is country's No. 1 streaming act -- 13th among all artists -- after generating a massive 667 million streams in 2015.
|
Quote:
Maroon 5:
The band's 2014 album, V, helped Adam Levine & Co. rack up 1.3 billion streams, making it one of the eight acts on the list to break the 10-figure threshold and netting M5 almost $800,000 in royalties.
|
Quote:
Florida Georgia Line:
FGL hasn't put out an album since Anything Goes in 2014, but the duo still rose 13 notches this year after almost tripling its touring revenue. The band also racked up 460 million streams, second only to Luke Bryan in country.
|
Quote:
Britney Spears:
Vegas has been good for Spears. For an act without an album, she sold a respectable 923,000 digital tracks, generated 350 million streams and earned her songs $500,000-plus in publishing royalties. She reaped only $31,000 of that though, because she uses outside songwriters.
|
Quote:
Bette Midler:
Midler's fans may be digitally challenged -- she generated just 10 million streams, the lowest of anyone on this list -- but they love her live, which is why her touring revenue accounted for 97 percent of her earnings.
|
Quote:
J. Cole:
J. Cole is one of just eight artists on the Money Makers list (five more didn't make the cut, according to Billboard estimates) to rack up more than 1 billion streams in 2015. Cole also was one of eight acts on the list to generate more than $1 million in publishing revenue.
|
Quote:
Ariana Grande:
Grande continued to push her 2014 album My Everything with her Honeymoon Tour, which earned $6.7 million and helped her sell 250,000 albums and 2.5 milllion digital tracks and generate 848 million streams.
|
Quote:
5 Seconds of Summer:
The pop-punkers sold 496,000 albums and almost 1.6 million tracks thanks to the popularity of their second album, Sounds Good Feels Good. For a group that popular, streams were low, at 347,000.
|
Quote:
Drake:
Drake was the No. 1 streaming artist (2.9 billion plays) and No. 3 in artist royalties ($6.7 million), while he sold 1.7 million albums, including his share of sales for his mixtape with Future.
|
Quote:
Brad Paisley:
Paisley earned more than $800,000 in artist royalties after his catalog sold 190,000 equivalent albums and 1.4 million in track sales and spurred 228 million streams. He added another $574,000 through publishing.
|
Quote:
Imagine Dragons:
The Dragons' recording revenue surpassed their live take. The Las Vegas band finished No. 5 in publishing royalties ($1.7 million), and its recording earnings totaled $2.4 million, due in part to 623 million streams.
|
Quote:
Nicki Minaj:
Strong album sales, to the tune of 425,000 units, and impressive streaming numbers -- 1.3 billion -- fueled Minaj's year as she continued to promote 2014's The Pinkprint album and tour.
|
Quote:
Romeo Santos:
While Santos had meager album sales of 71,000 units and moved a modest 377,000 track downloads, he was a streaming star with 714 million plays. He also had a hand in writing most of his songs, so his publishing and artist royalties totaled $792,000 --13.3 percent of his 2015 earnings.

Video+Audio streams in 2015, US only. 5SOS are obviously wrong though, they even said Bette Midler has the least streams of anyone on the list with 10M.

The Month In Spotify Charts: April 2016
Note that ALL dates discussed are the dates of the UPDATES, not the dates of the data collection for those updates. Remember, a Sunday chart has Spotify data from that Saturday, a Monday update has data from Sunday, etc.
Overview
It is difficult to overstate the growth that Spotify underwent in April. Drake's dual release of Views tracks One Dance and Pop Style to the platform along with the sharp rise in popularity of Desiigner's Panda helped boost activity to all-time highs. For the first time, the top 10 of the chart recorded over 11 million plays in one day. The all-time top 8 T50 play values all occurred in April. While March had the first occurrence of 90+ songs with 200K+ streams, it happened 21 times in April, with a new record of 105 set on the 9th. Remarkably, the average T50 plays for a Monday this April (24,495,851) is greater than the average T50 plays for a Friday in February (23,541,591). It is not just the upper echelons of the charts that are experiencing rapid growth; in fact, the T200 plays grew slightly more than the T10 plays month-over-month in April. The T100 eclipsed 40M plays 7 times in April; that never occurred in either March or February. Notably, the typical "Tuesday effect" involving sharp decreases for rhythmic/urban tracks seems to have dissipated. However, the day of the week still has a large impact on the nature of that day's chart. The average T50 plays for a Monday this April was the aforementioned 24.5M, while it was 27.0M on non-Monday weekdays and 28.2M on weekends. The 1.2M gap between non-Monday weekdays and weekends represents a slight decrease from the 1.6M gap observed in March.
April marks the one-year anniversary of Spotify providing play counts to go along with its charts, and the growth that the service has seen in that timespan is nothing short of stunning. While 400,000 plays was good for a top 5 spot in April 2015, that same tally places a song in the mid-30s today. Spotify's playlists are also beginning to have a larger impact on its charts, as their flagship Today's Top Hits playlist just recently surpassed 8M followers and has demonstrated a repeated ability to send songs largely lacking airplay and sales to the chart's top 30. On nearly every day in April (28 out of the 30, by far the most for any month in Spotify's history), the whole T200 recorded 100K+ plays. A year ago today, just 117 songs were able to crack six figures and only 44 hit 200K plays.
With the release of Views to Spotify on tap this month, it seems logical to project further robust growth for Spotify in May. Expect records to continue falling and streams to continue rising.

For single, according to RIAA, 1b = 6.7m sales but ~2.2m TTE (track activity based on revenue)
