It's not at all too late! Bill Clinton didn't really get momentum until early 1992. Back in 1968, Bobby Kennedy wasn't even a candidate until March 16 of the election year.
I'm not particularly a Bloomberg fan or anything but I just think the idea of him running independent, especially with his money and name recognition and power, would be pretty interesting.

I suppose I see that side of things.
What's interesting to note is that it seems his run is conditional upon her performance; I feel like if she loses both Iowa and NH or if she's indicted soon, he's definitely going to run.
It should make for an interesting race if it comes down to Trump vs. Bernie vs. Bloomberg; he's essentially right in the middle, with some conservative policies and some liberal views.
Call me crazy but if Hillary somehow fades or faces trial, could this be the year a third party / independent candidate makes a serious run for the presidency? It hasn't been since Ross Perot's original run against Clinton that one made a real dent, and we've had a Democrat or Republican as President since 1853 when the Whigs were a thing
