No it's bad. Even Ellie's Delirium, one of the worst pop girl albums of the decade, got a 7.2
They gave The Fame Monster a 7.8 which translated to a 78 on Metacritic since they work on a 100-point scale. So if a 6.9 ends up translating into a 69 for Joanne, then it's not really a loss since it's higher than the actual Metascore.

Pitchfork has been slacking lately. They gave Adele, Ellie, Bieber 7+ and Gagz 6.9.
5 years ago all those albums would have gotten their deserves 4s and 5s, not 7s
After I sold 20 million albums with my 1st record, I sold 10 million albums with my 3rd record, and ARTPOP just sold less, you know, its in the millions but not 10 million records, Cheek to Cheek sold a couple million records as well, I dont know what Joanne will sell yet. Its really just that when you start out so big if you dont achieve that again, everybody goes "Oh, she's over"
This is the 2nd track I really like by her after Hotter Than Hell omg. And to think I used to think she was some Tumblr trash like Allie X or something
