I saw it happen with the Navy and at the time Rih even had a 9 week #1. But in retrospect the era was still ultimately a mid-size flop with the mediocre tour, album, single sales.
Streaming was her only saving grace. And Gaga definitely won't have that. She still loses. Just not as hard as some Katy Kats though. But pretty hard when considering she debuted less than Frank Ocean.

Henny, stop fuming. We know that IFPIanne most probably fall out of the charts if they don't release singles. Most of us just happy to find out that GodGa actually still has a chance and she didn't get Xtina'd and Cyndi Lauper'd after Artflop

Meanwhile the Munsters are rejoicing over ~130k/150 first week @4 bucks a pop
So this basically tells us the only powerful female artists of this year are Utada, Beyonce and Rihanna. POC power (and I guess Taylor, Celine and Adull too)
