Not really - Spotify pays around $0.007 per stream but for all right holders, not recording artist. Big stars like Rihanna gets ~18-20% master recording revenue. Also Rihanna pays ~8-10% for hr producers and next 10-12% for her manager. Let's say she gets $0.007*0.2*0.9*0.9 = $0.0011 per stream. $4.4m is still nice.

Are you kidding me? How is that nice? That is so low compared to what she can earn thru iTunes just from one or 2 good selling songs... Spotify will make all these singers raise their tour fees
