i dont see what the big deal is with the cubes....she used them for CIL...ok and what?? then she used them in a different way creatively with 6 Inch that looked completely different. so 2 songs??

You know the Hive loves to hate damn near everything she does nowadays. The only valid criticisms I saw for GC and MIA was the amount of (unnecessarily long) interludes and costume changes. For someone who specifically said "I don't want to have to leave the stage too many times." during the Revel prep it's strange and annoying that she actively goes out of her way to do the opposite now.

I agree with both views. During the TBE, IAWT, 4 era promo, I really wanted her to step up her stage production. And she really has. She continued to grow with the MCSWT but took it to a completely different level with the FWT and I was really happy about that.

And tbh she leaves the stage a lot less now than she did during the MCSWT. She used to perform 1-3 songs for an outfit (Freakum Dress, WDYLM, Naughty Girl/Party).

I LOVE the fact that she's gotten so into more visual and theatrical production and it's amazing in her concerts where it doesn't detract from the show in any way, but it just doesn't work in the shorter festival sets for numerous reasons. People saying that time and place makes a difference is different from saying it doesn't work at all.

I strongly disagree. I prefer when she tones down a notch what's happening on stage. She doesn't need that many dancers or a huge production to give an amazing show. In fact, I think it detracts from what should be the main focus: her amazing voice/performing skills. That's why I'm Yours will always be my favorite show. It's just her, her band and her dancers, with minimal stage production, letting her God-given talent be the center of attention. I wouldn't mind this big shows she does right now if she also had more intimate shows, but that seldom happens right now.
