I couldn't care less about this new app either. I just hope if they're really re-releasing they're gonna WAIT for November/December this time, cause since now it's pretty clear Britney won't promote as she should to sell the album, they should never EVER release her albums outside of the 4th quarter.
The new music has already been recorded guys. It's porbably Antidote, Switch You On. Etc.
I hope not especially based on the description from the supposed "insider" from a while back...
Quote:
"Antidote", the second track from the sampler, brings new cards to the table when it comes to the pop tart. Taking classes from Ke$ha, Britney showcases her rap/sing abilities alternating distorted vocals - think Daft Punk - in a disco-infused song. Best track from the sampler.
"Switch You On" is the typical sexy midtempo. Britney oozes sexuality whispering throughout the verses and ending the chorus with the lyrics: "If I turn the lights off / I wonder if it would switch you o-o-on" suceeded by an unplugged electric guitar.
"I I I Wanna Go O O" is, perhaps, the weakest track on the sampler. The typical Dr. Luke bass and Martin's doll-esque vocals makes the song sound like a Sugababes' "About You Now" revival. Not quite there.
And "Switch You On" is a great track but I would say "Antidote" has much more of a hit potential. That was the initial direction of the album - a grimier sound, a dirty version of "Dynamite" by Taio Cruz. Enough of giving away the goods. Wait and you'll be pleased.
Stop overreacting, I'm not ****ing "hating" on anything - Unless you live in an alternate world where the promo week we got was enough to properly sell the album.

Yeah, I think November/December would be the right time to re-release Femme Fatale.
Ok, so I've thought it out. Amazon should sell the Femme Fatale rerelease for $1.99, and then they should have some campaign to discount the album with a promo code which will give people a 99 cent credit to their account. These people can then purchase the rerelease for $1.00 which is still less desperate than Gaga by .1
