As much as I used to love Gypsy, I'm glad we are starting to get over it. It's a beautiful and impactful song but it is starting to sound very 'noisy' to me, if that makes sense. Thinking it might not have worked well on radio with that production (will always hope she strips it down with another producer, potential hit).

There was rock/industrial influence on BTW, I don't think she'll overdo the rock production and will deffo make some pop/rock-ish songs, she knows her core fanbase ain't here for death metal **** (I hope )

Applause global? HOW? It is outsold in Europe by a song that did not even have a video. Applause has sold barely 1-1.5M outside USA. Is that global for you?
It sold 1.6m outside the US, yes it is a global hit in my opinion. You want to know what a local hit is?
