this kind of sleeper hits only happen to unknown artists
I mean, look. I personally do not think this is going to be a sleeper hit. But do you ever say anything positive about Ke$ha? I'm waiting for that moment to occur. It's never happened. You said "it's peaking right now you all are delusional " and the day after that it got its' best update on Pop radio of its' entire radio chart run We may be exaggerating in positivity for this song but it's a lot better than exaggerating in negativity, IMO. Enough is enough.
Collin's unwavering positivity. There will be songs written about it one day.
I'm kind of with VampireGrin on this one, though. In other news, I love that we've managed to fill nearly 500 pages for this song, especially considering there really haven't been too many things to discuss. SUCH post *****s. I love it.
I don't think this is going to smash, either. Never really did once there was absolutely no promotion and the will.i.am remix ruins the song. I thought it was going to peak at #59, honestly... maybe it can go top 40. With a radio update like the one we saw Monday, I'm feeling optimistic.
As for y'all thinking the era should end, I disagree. Kesha isn't going to be putting out more music because she's on tour. I think they should go ahead and release Supernatural because unlike other Ke$ha songs, there's nothing NOT to love about it and it has controversy going with the whole ghost sex theme. It's infectious and could work, especially in international countries where CK outdid C'Mon and re-snatched some attention.
Can we discuss how dirty love is the worst song of her career?? It's seriously awful. How can anyone like it.. Even a little bit '?
"But wild child can do it better" is probably my fave line on Warrior. The song in full is sort of unremarkable but I don't think it's bad! I wanna perform it with Mr. Peep$ at a dive bar in Minnesota one day.
