The truth is more and more people are getting tired of hearing generic **** on the radio (and tbh so am i). If britney/jive/us want the album to sell SHE's gonna have to take a risk by releasing a mid tempo and a song that you know, features "her natural vocals"........

Her situation is just too complex for the manichean mainstream audiences.

Her live performances during the FF tour reassured me concerning her abilities to sing live.
