Well, it was painful beacuse the music was great enough to give her few ww hits and honestly, I fell in love with the album but u can totally get it why some people did not. It was hard but I got over it,just like I got over the scary
BTW era. Let's just appreciate her music that stands above all her contemporaries.
Did you mean 'having a mature approach to pop music' police?
Wait so a mature approach is telling everyone to sit down, shut up, and be happy? Okay! I love everything Gaga does. The way she moves, the way she walks. Let's rate Gaga ha singles again, only because we have to accept that her music is always ***flawless, we can only rank best single to best single.
As I recall, some of us were discussing what a great album Born This Way was, how it could have been better, and how ARTPOP had similar pitfalls. No bashing and all without telling others to sit down, shut up, and be happy.
Much like our maker, this fan base is too sensitive

Calm down. I thought you knew me enough already. I'm not the Type of person who is happy about everything she does but this is pop music and a pop star. That's all.
Well, that's the point...the demos were slightly better:
She had been working on ARTPOP for a very long time, and had plenty of time to think about it (as she admitted).
Who said Gaga shouldn't work on her albums? As a matter of fact, I said she should work on her albums for two weeks. That's a lot of work. She's always raving about always writing and producing all the time so I am sure she's capable. Just one or two attempts at making an album alongside a talented producer will help Gaga create a refined album that would probably sound raw and original.
You should open yourself up to criticism about Lady Gaga. Just because fans have different ideas on how Gaga should present her next body of work doesn't mean we think ill of her, just that we want her to bring out her best potential. You cannot have a radio ARTPOP mindset with Gaga.
Likewise, the same can be said to you. You should be open to people not agreeing with your criticisms. Not everyone cares enough to critique every little thing that's happening, especially when those things happened a year ago. Some of us just like to enjoy the ride as opposed to always having something to critique or complain about.
I am completely open to valid criticisms, not criticisms based on assumptions. You're currently criticizing her for "working on the album too much" when you don't know how much she worked on the album. Your criticism is based on an assumption of what you think Gaga did. This is something Gaga fans do all the time. During the BTW era, it was all about the assumption that she was a huge ego-maniac, and now it's about the assumption that she worked too much on the album? Let's criticize things we know for a fact she is slipping with, like lack of direction, or lack of cohesive theming, not what we think is happening. It just doesn't make sense to me and will in no way "help her". In addition, she's not going to see any of our criticisms, and I highly doubt she'd care either way, especially not after how everyone reacted to ARTPOP.
Either way, I enjoy the discussions as long as they don't turn into arguments. I like passionate fans who want to talk about stuff as opposed to the same boring **** over and over again. Some people complain about the essays, but I quite enjoy them as they show dedication and passion.

I don't know you
No, I'm joking. I was just going by what you said. We can definitely have discussions about Gaga and her ARTPOP while acknowledging her highs and her lows. No one is bashing her, and from what I saw, just the acknowledgment of what we want more from her

None of this makes sense. Someone mentioned Gaga's demos being better, to which I agreed, and you confirmed that Gaga made demos. Had you said you disagreed, I probably would have said to each his own, but that you did not.
And who is making assumptions? ARTPOP title was revealed like what, August 2012? And the album came out November 2013, which only backs up what I said about wanting Gaga to work on a new album in two weeks.
Surely Gaga would rather we were discussing the good and bad points of her latest work rather than stop talking about it at all?
Certainly not.
My point is is that it was a difficult era filled with a lot of negativity, and I would like it if the Base now was used to discuss her upcoming music with a positive and excited attitude.
