Girls we should play nice with the Bey stans, no need to get into messy dragging NOW. If her sales are a bit small, save it for when they come for Femme Fatale ever again.

I'm so tired of Brit fans fighting about 4th single when IWG has just released 2 weeks and it's not dying yet. I don't believe you guys anymore. You fought hard for IWG to be released cos you said that It'd hit the world and a summer smash. And Now I see it's not performing that well on every chart...So Stop fighting about 4th single!!! Let it be brit's or Jive's decision...
MTV Newsroom: Who Had Your Favorite Album Of 2011 (So Far)?
Posted 1 hr ago by James Montgomery in Music
My picks for the Best Albums of 2011 (So Far) were only published a few hours ago, but already, I'm hearing complaints from all sides. These things are probably to be expected ... especially when you put F**ked Up's David Comes To Life at #1.
Still, it seems people are pretty upset with some of my picks; or, more specifically, the albums I didn't pick. Beyonce's 4 didn't make the cut, neither did Britney Spears' Femme Fatale, Chris Brown's F.A.M.E., Frank Ocean's Nostalgia, ULTRA or, as one commenter complained, Linkin Park's A Thousand Suns, even though, y'know, it came out in 2010.
There were even some folks who took issue with where a particular album landed on my list: Lady Gaga's Born This Way was too low, Adele's 21 was too high, Eminem and Royce Da 5'9"'s Hell: The Sequel should've made the Top 10, etc. Seems that no matter how hard I try, I just can't win.
And while I'm well aware that you can't please everybody, I figured I should probably let you guys have your say, too. And perhaps the most democratic way to do that is with a trusty Newsroom poll. I've taken some of the records that didn't make my list (and a few that did) and now, it's up to you. If you're angry with my list, this is your opportunity to let me know about it.
What was your favorite album from the first half of 2011? Vote now in our poll!
Britney is the best female pop singer out there. ("pop" is the key word, before you start eating your laptop ! LMAO).
Being the best at something is another talent, in my book, but it is rarely mentioned.
Her situation is just too complex for the manichean mainstream audiences.
I don't know anyone who can do justice to any songs without overshadowing it and always bringing a genuine sense of fun & escapism.
It's one of the reason, she clicked so much with people and created a fanbase as scary as it is !
Her singing is believable as if she was speaking to us.
She also can sing "for real". Anyone who studied her career and listen to her albums & demos know that.
I remember when Taryn Manning said that she listened to Brit's true voice on the set of Crossroads...
Her live performances during the FF tour reassured me concerning her abilities to sing live.
