Adam gets on my nerves; no one ever calls him out on his arrogance but people are so quick to label X as self-centered.
At least Christina has never thrown her own team under the bus. She's been insanely loyal to all those she mentored. Whereas Adam threw one of his finalists under the bus last fall because he clearly favored Tessanne.

If it's any condolence, I think it's a woman thing, not really a thing against Christina. Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj had strong opinions on American Idol and the audience couldn't handle it either.
But yeah, I don't see how Blake can get away telling people to shut up all the time or brag about his three wins. Can you imagine if Christina or any other woman bragged about winning three times?
Of course woman can be accepted on The Voice, but you need to appear as vacant mentally or a submissive woman like another female Voice Coach may be. But it's not in Christina's personality to be fake. She can only be herself.

Exactly; it infuriates me that Christina gets so much negative attention while men, who behave the same way, are praised.
But it's also the reason I love her personality so much. She's always herself!

And I would love to hear what Baby Boy dislikes about her personality too. Christina may be very opinionated, but she's not malicious.
A lot of Britney fans I've noticed have the wrong perception about her personality because it seems like a lot of people in their group intentionally choose to misrepresent Christina (ironic, given that Britney fans of all people should know it's like when their fave gets misrepresented), so I hope that's not the case here.

I agree. The thing that gets me the most is that the majority of people criticizing them are other WOMEN. It's so dumb.

I know, me too! I love how three dimensional she is. Maybe other people want bland one-dimensional "sweet" faves, and I guess everyone is free to like what they want.  But I could not be into anything that fake. I'd rather be into something a little bit more real.

I can't at the double standard of people calling Legend a bitch when Adam and Blake keep talking how awesome they think they are and when Legend say some critic for a contestant, everyone gets mad at her  .
Not to mention that most of the people that talked about her appearance were women , I hope Legend is back on season 8 with a big cleavage just to see the housewives seething.

Yeah, Adam did say something more favorable to Tessanne over Will. I guess Will tried to be political but his wife didn't hold back on Twitter lol
And yeah, the self-sexism is so ironic lol. It's like really? I doubt many of those women would want to be treated the same way lol. And it's funny when you try to confront them, they're like "This is just my opinion!". Really? Then what do you think Christina is giving out?  But then again, most of these women are conservative so, it wouldn't surprise me if they do think a woman should be submissive

And that bothers me too; I am such a champion for women empowerment yet it's so disheartening to see the majority of verbal attacks/criticism on women come from other women. I just want to scream 'you all should be sticking together.' Christina has done a lot in support for other women; she doesn't deserve such harsh criticism because she may show cleavage, or gain weight, or be brutally honest, or heaven forbid, be real enough to show a flaw or two on national television. I'd rather have that than a groomed barbie doll who we never really get to know. I'm not saying people aren't allowed to have a less than favorable opinion of her, because everyone is entitled to his/her opinions, but I'm speaking more to those whose comments seem to be dripping with hatred.

Did I say it's a Christina thing? No, I was implying all women, including other female judges. Christina gets a lot of it because of The Voice demo.

Preach. It really is so backwards.  I miss my Legend... But I want her to make an effort for her next era... I think she could still be allowed to perform a couple times on the voice without being a judge. Hope she does that if she's not on the panel.

I agree. Blake Shelton is the most annoying piece of..... NVM, it's not worth the WP.
I don't want her to perform on the voice if its as messy as last time Although I admit the make the world move performance was entertaining.
Legend X should really put Say something as a bonus track on the album to attract buyers. Anyone agree?

I remember her calling out The Voice taht night,she was so pissed, she was saying things like you can vote for who you want, but all the contestants should have a fair treatment and they made Will sing Wake Me Up with Aloe Blacc, (a song thata was already song by a contestant) while Tessane sang with Celine and Jacquie with Paramore.

Yeah, Blake and Adam do get away with so much more. Yet, anything Christina does or says, gets magnified x100... Sexism at its finest. I love how unapologetic she is and stays true to her word in her music. She is a true role-model, she doesn't put on a fake front like so many in the industry. I applaud her for that and always will.

I thought the same for say something. like just the track or even a solo or something as a bonus. It would help sell it too.
I have a question for you. For Britney as a judge, what did you think? Was she treated unfairly at times because she was a woman, or her opinions were viewed differently because of it? It'd be interesting to hear your take as we have more of a reference than just Christina.

For some reason, my mom loves the voice and watches every season lol. And I hear Adam constantly and... well idk if it's flamebait here so I won't say much lol. The trolls lurk the base. But the snarky things he says and does is just disgusting. A woman could never say the things he said and be taken in the same light. The viewers thinks he's adorable and funny and having a "boyish charm" or whatever and he gets away with it. Even his "I hate this country" remark didn't give him any slack. He got some articles on it but everyone agreed that he was joking. If Christina said it, it'd be superbowl all over again.
