Not sure about this, but I think that the 0.29 goes to Apple + The Record Label. The other 1$ goes to:
The song Vocalist, Writers and Producers.
So let's take "Bad Romance" as an example.
Vocalist: Lady Gaga, Writers: Lady Gaga & Red One, Producers: Red One & Lady Gaga, Russell, Eelco Bakker
Let's assume the share is even,
0.33$ goes to Gaga for the vocals, 0.15$ Writings, and 0.10$ for Producing. It sums up = 0.58$.
Bad Romance sold 3M copies:
-FIXED- 3,000,000 X 0.58 =
1,740,000$
