Electric Shock is f(x)'s best single and them at their peak. The Korean Perfume were giving it to us back then and SM actually treated them like they mattered. Sulli also cared enough to make it through promotions. It doesn't have 80 million views on Youtube for nothing. You [and others in the wrong] can act like liking the song is the "minority" way to think, but in fact, you are in the minority
In terms of title tracks Electric Shock is arguably their best with maybe the exception of Red Light. Either way PINK TAPE is f(x) at their peak regardless of the title track.
f(x) always delivers great titles, but i'm here for ALBUMS sis.
The song itself was a huge mistake. No one is here for this kind of mess. Regarding their Korean comeback I still don't see what does it have to do with CMIYC so I don't get your point. Like it's so unusual for them to shot a box MV, wow. Slay that new concept Soshi.
Nobody said it didn't flop. Nor did I say anyone said that. Again, lower your defenses and read what I'm writing. Stop reading into what I'm writing. So you don't see what their most recent release (no matter the language) being the lowest they've ever charted, dictates how and what they release next - in terms of predictability and safeness? Not to mention all the bad PR they have received from Sica's departure? If you don't see it, then you don't. I'm not here to change that.
For comparison sake, I posted last night that GsD were #1 on 5 charts and top 5 on the remaining, with a CF song that isn't being promoted, not their comeback, had no showcase and a short MV. So how can you use that excuse for SNSD, the alleged #1 girlgroup of Korea, when a lower (but still top) tier girlgroup like GsD is cleaning house with a song of similar promotion style? And that's only taking Korea into account. They actually promoted in Japan.

I agree. I am here for albums too sis. Pink Bible is their most cohesive collection of songs, but ES is their best title track.
Like imagine ES as the title track of Pink Tape
Slay

CMIYC is awful, that's it. It sounds cheap and outdated. Like I said no one is here for this and sales proved it but I still don't see what does it have to do with my first question. SM obviously won't release an EDM song as SNSD brand new Korean title track, and clearly an awful Korean ver. of a Japanese single won't sell 300k on it's first week. Still, it was a nice treat to their fans.
I don't understand how some people were actually expecting this to smash in Korea when it was also meant to flop in Japan, like wtf.

JK. Let's leave it @ we both think it wasn't a good single choice
CMIYC would have made cute filler on 'The Best' last year, but as a lead single? A mess. Its essentially an extremely watered down version of Britney's Work Bitch which is already nothing special.
Only thing that saved the release from being among their worst ever was the line distribution and choreography.
