^^Basically she said that Shannon and Aubrey rerecord songs to add their own adlibs...and take Dawn off. And Dawn feels she shouldn't be slighted so that her group members could validate their own vocals. Basically calling them insecure, without really coming out and saying it.
She also mentioned that she always thought Shannon/Aubrey had great voices...its just that THEY don't know it. And she's coached them in the studio, and even helped produce their vocals...b/c they asked her to. Which I DO remember seeing on her Insta btw.
It could have been and should have been handled privately for the group and for the fans sake. You all can keep pumping up Aubrey like she is a saint that got hit in the head for no reason. I mean Dawn admitted she was wrong, and she was working to finish the album after the fact, so what else do you want? Girl groups do not air the dirty laundry until they are over for good, years after the split because it's not good for business. Well maybe Aubrey is over with DK for good so she leaked the story and wrote the letter.
Now no label will take them seriously or invest in them because of Aubrey stupidness. I'm sure they had a lot of plans, but now their options are slim to none. DK fan-base is small and I'm sure they had plans to expand their fanbase. Who is going to take them seriously now apart from their die hard fans? You guys are so short sighted.
^Dawn said they were on Instagram. They had a production deal w/ The Stereotypes, and record deal was in place too...it was all going to be announced at once.
Not the blame shifting to Aubrey.
The group was over as soon as Dawn hit Aubrey.
She said in that letter she would never put up with abuse which is why every thing turned out the way it did. Dawn needs to be thrown off a cliff.
Aubrey and Shannon went and got their own agent?
"Our agent will call your agent ☎️"
Relationship with Aundrea destroyed
Relationship with Dwoods destroyed
Relationship with Dawn destroyed
I see she's working on destroying her relationship with Shannon.
Some of y'all aren't making any ******* sense if Dawn was trying to be lead it wouldn't have supposedly made sense now. She didn't lead on any of the new tracks I.E Rhythm of love, AIADW, or Rage. Only song we can say she "lead " on was lemonade. If she was trying to be leader I'm pretty sure she would have took over on the other tracks as well so what y'all saying don't make sense to me.
and true DK fans know that Aubrey and Shannon were struggling with their vocals. Hence the episode when they interviewed with Miss Jones and one of the Radio People said they should be called 3 because only 3 of them could sing IE Dawn, Aundrea, And Dwoods

Aubrey never "struggled" with vocals. That storyline was concocted for the show.

"storyline"? Aubrey has always struggled with vocals. It's prevalent she wasn't a vocalist on their official recordings on both albums and live showings.
^ Aubrey even said herself in a confessional that she's confident in acting, dancing...but singing was her weakest point. MTB Season 2 I believe. Wasn't it when they were rehearsing for Lady Marmalade and she couldn't hit the high notes?
I really don't feel like getting receipts ...but I'm a diehard MTB fan...and she definitely admitted it herself.

Yeah but then Aubrey got sick during rehearsals for the Street Challenge where they would perform "Lady Marmalade". But in the beginning of the week when her vocals were fine she hit the notes perfectly. First thing in the video.
But in general she was the second-weakest vocalist out of the group. But her and Shannon have improved tremendously.
Nahhh....there was definitely a confessional were she said vocals weren't her strongest point as a performer. Maybe it was actually season 1 w/ they first started working w/ Doc Holiday. It's going to bother me now I have to find it, and I don't have my downloaded MTB episodes on this computer here in NYC.
And yes she has improved, they all have improved. That's not what I'm saying. I think that when other stronger vocalists are around Aubrey she gets a little intimidated. So, I don't think what Dawn is saying is THAT much of a stretch.
Aubrey has shown many of times that she's not confident in singing. Wasn't she crying in the parking lot of another episode b/c she wasn't getting solos? During MTB 3 Season 3? I THINK Dawn was the one to comfort her too. Ha!

Recording "Ride for You", and right after that she barely had parts on "Hold Me Down"
I don't know if it's the script of the show, but Aubrey had the most issues during studio sessions. Writers and producers had to re-do some parts for her. She lets her nerves get the best of her.

It was all edited to make it seem like that. In their first studio session for Sleep On It, they made it seem like Aubrey and the others rocked it while Dawn was the one that struggled. It's all for TV.
If you were one of the 12 people that watched Aubrey's solo reality show, you would see she became an egotistical bitch and actually thought TOO highly of herself... In that sense it would have been more believable for Dawn to suggest that Aubrey felt she was too big a star to not have more parts...
