LADIES & GENTLEMAN... CHOOSE THE ALBUM, THEN A SONG IS BACK!
The Game is back on!
I should be so emotional because no one quit this time around! Seems like we finally have THE contestants! All are in and all in time!

Let's meet the 17 entries!

5. ONCE A SONG IS USED, IT GETS BLOCKED FOR THE NEXT THREE ROUNDS;
6. EVERYONE IS ALLOWED TO VOTE (INSIDERS+OUTSIDERS);

ROUND FOUR

1. e437 - Beyoncé - BEYONCÉ: XO

She thinks that nothing can stop the true love and we all have to believe that because it's so true. It's melody also gives you a feel good vibe. This song surely makes you forget about all your problems and makes you sing it out loud. | |

2. Adele Addict - Avril Lavigne - Avril Lavigne: Sippin' On Sunshine

While it is one of the weaker tracks on the album, it's one of my personal favorites because it's fun and it can make anyone happy. The song's infectious beat and lyrics is enough to make you want to get up and dance. It's listenable regardless of the occasion or your mood. Definitely a feel-good song.

3. Mr.Link - Nelly Furtado - Loose: Say It Right

The reason I'm choosing this song is simply cause it's my favorite of the album. It's been almost 8 years and I still can't get enough of it. It's a magical song. It has a mystery to it, that I have not quite figured out. It has a haunting twist to it. It's extremely catchy for those days in which you just wanna sit down and relax but it also has this weird nostalgic feeling, a very deep concept. Overall it's a very weird song but it perfectly captures the feeling she had when she wrote it and it always takes me to another place, whenever, wherever.

If you're in a positive mood, this song would keep your spirits up with the happy lyrics describing an immaculate relationship. The song also has a bit of a somber, melancholic tone to it. If you weren't in a good mood, you could still bop to this track while thinking of your loved one.

5. Regina George - One Direction - Midnight Memories: Through The Dark

I can listen this song when I'm in bad phase and feel good or just okay phase and feel a lot better. I was actually thinking OMG, what could I send if this is basically Round 2.5 and this was my second choice. Even if the lyrics are too cheesy for you, just the music will make you want to think about your choices, or take a hike, anything you imagine.

6. Gatsby - Ashlee Simpson - Autobiography: La La
7. ∆ Emyromania ∆ - Good Charlotte - The Chronicles Of Life And Death: I Just Wanna Live

I picked this song because it's the most fun song to listen to in 'The Chronicles off Life and Death'. The instrumentals/beat represent a different part of the whole album. I could listen this in a lot of situations, when I need to cheer me up, when I want to dance, or just to have fun with friends. Also the lyrics are very 'I give an F'-ish and I love it.

For that "go-to" song that you could listen to wherever, whenever, you don't want a song that is extremely loud and in your face, nor would you want to listen to a ballad all the time. Thus, the common medium results in "Seventeen". No matter the situation, this song could provide company for anybody - whether it be for a nice & chill drive around, or an intimate picnic & stroll through a park. To elaborate, the comfort this song provides is all from the natural progression of the melody. From the gradual buildup of the beat into the guitar solo & upbeat finale, I found that you really can listen to this song regardless.

Die Another Day
I remember hearing this song as an 8-year-old and it becoming such an anthem for me. The list of times I've listened to this song is quite extensive: workouts, dance parties, self jam-sessions... and so much more. What more would you expect from a James Bond Soundtrack song but to be versatile and timeless? The empowered vocals and heavy-punching progression next to choppy violin samples proves that Die Another Day has something for everyone. Sidenote: only Madonna can get away with name-dropping Sigmund Freud.
"I guess I'll die another day...
It's not my time to go."

Alien is calm/relaxing, but also has some beats that doesn't make it too slow, let alone the good vibe that comes from it. The very relatable lyrics talk about the bad, when you feel alone and like you don't belong anywhere even though you're surrounded by other people, and the good, when you know you have that one person that makes you know you're not alone and feel like home wherever you are. Alien's sound and lyrics makes it the perfect song to listen anytime, anyplace.

For one, just like Two Way Street each part of the song has contrasting emotions, so at least one section will fit your current mood. Second, while it is a sort of angry song, it also has a great to groove for it, so if you're in a good mood you can just jam out. I hope you all can find the same magic in this song that I hear every time I listen to it.

The song carries an enjoyable vibe that inspires the listeners to express their fervent falsetto towards the surroundings. It means to seize the moment with sincerity, and be loved together with the person, the nature, or the place around them. The chorus depicts and strengthens that perfectly sappy scene. Otherwise, it clears out the sad or upset days temporarily to lean toward the stabbing techno riff, and crunched-together mouth-popping noises.

14. Chill Bill - Gotye - Making Mirrors: In Your Light

In stark contrast to the rest of Making Mirrors, In Your Light is a classic feel-good track. It's airy, bouncy, carefree, and irresistibly cheerful. Driven by a brisk acoustic guitar riff and a twinkling synth, Gotye sings dreamily about the one who makes his life worth living (though we never find out who that person is). It's truly a song for any occasion. The brisk, finger-snapping beat makes it easy to dance to, but it's light and breezy enough to listen to when you just feel like relaxing.

Lyrically, the song revolves around the same 4 lines, that are repeated. Whenever you feel depressed, happy or sad, you could listen to this song and really be inspired. Every feeling and event is a learning experience, and this song is a reminder of that. I also feel no matter where you listen to this, it can make you think. At school, a funeral, a wedding, the vagueness of the lyrics can really mean anything to anybody in any situation.

16. Penk - Janelle Monáe - The Electric Lady: Electric Lady (feat. Solange)

The song I chose for this round was the title track, "Electric Lady". The funky song is very reminiscent of late 90's R&B (such as TLC), and features some background vocals from Solange. This track is really something I could listen to anytime, with it's irresistibly catchy chorus (try not to get it stuck in your head!) with Jane spitting a few bars towards the end of the song, and with it just being so much fun to listen (and dance) to! If I'm feeling a bit down, listening to this will immediately lift my spirits up, and if I'm in a good mood it's something I can "get way down" to.

This is a risky choice, but I believe it's the most fitting. 'U Started It' is one of the most relaxed, cool, and interesting songs on The Sweet Escape. The song can fit any mood, with it's uplifting melody and relateable lyrics. It's a song that you can play wherever you go, as the lyrics can fit a breakup, a Summer day, etc.

It was very hard choosing what to vote for this round.
OFF
Adore You (No ma'am, this is boring)
La La (It's one of the songs I tend to hate sometimes, I wouldn't listen to it anywhere)
Settle Down (I couldn't get into this song as much as the rest)
U Started It (I love this song but I feel it was a rather random choice for this round and the essay was weak)
SAVE
Seventeen (Who's this guy? I'm loving your choices so far)
XO (Nailed it with your choice. MTE)

An overall solid round for everybody. I gave almost high scores across the board if that makes you all feel a little better about your choices,
Minus those that didn't score so high.
