Jess won't retire from an early standpoint...I don't think the song's gonna have that big of a run, unless it hits #1 and stays top 5 for at least 20 days. I hope AFI, JoJo and MCR retire along with Evanescence. If CMWYS doesn't retire, I'll be super-pissed off.
I would be voting for Evanescence and AFI right now, but MTV.com has been redesigned today and there's nothing I can do to sign in. Everything at MTV.com is taking a long time to load. I don't know what to be more angry at. Evanescence falling off TRL five days before retirement or AFI falling three spots to number 5 and being passed by Jessica Simpson and Justin Timberlake.
As for the number of votes TRL gets in a given day, I don't know the answer. I'd estimate between 10,000 and 10,000,000.
