I'm not sure if this is 100% correct.
People are saying Ciara submitted:
Body Party
Record & Song Of Year, R&B Song & Performance
Im Out
Rap/Sung Collab

I read that "Blurred Lines" has been submitted to Record of the Year and Song of the Year.
Edit: Green just added it. Thanks! Was wondering about whether it was true or not.

Nothing wrong with that. Like I said, labels always submit things no matter how successful or unsuccessful an album is . You do realize that even My December was submitted for tons of things and it got nothing right? They even submitted Never Again for Best Rock Performance

Macklemore and RS should have submitted in Rap/Sung. And if they submitted Thrift Shop there, it's lame to be double dipping. Same Love would be more appropriate for this category if they had to double dip.

Macklemore and Ryan Lewis are going for total domination and their submissions are crazy good. Serving a Beyoncé tea and going for every cathegory possible. Probably gonna be the most nominated act of the year.

Just saw the rest of their submissions. How do they qualify for Rap Performance and not Rap/Sung? Wanz isn't part of their group

Regardless of quality and success, everything eligible is submitted by the label. As they should.
It doesn't mean anything really. It's only important for Grammy followers that like to predict the nominees and ofc the voters.

Not surprised about Album of the Year & Rock Album for 'PARAMORE'.
Still Into You for Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Music Video are great submissions.
But kinda surprised about Rock Performance and Rock Song for Still Into You, I thought they would submit 'Now' in those categories and Still Into You to Best Pop Song by a Duo/Group, but I can see why they did it (less competition).
