I've been so tremendously busy the last 2 weeks that I've had no time to update this. I expect this trend to continue the rest of the semester. Now I finally feel like Ryan. I always used to complain about him missing a week. For the record, it is the first non-intentional missed week in countdown history. I have awarded all songs still on the countdown 2 weeks to make up for the total.
Week of 9/23 quick summary
Disturbed- "Indestructible" debuts at #5
Ashes Divide- "The Prey" falls off after 8 weeks.
In Flames- "Alias" remained at #1 for the second straight week.
9/30
On-deck:
15. Royal Bliss- "Save Me"
14. Shiny Toy Guns- "Ricochet"
13. Motorhead- "Rock Out" [OFF]
12. Hinder- "Use Me"
11. Scars on Broadway- "World Long Gone"
The countdown:
10. Kings of Leon- "Sex On Fire" (DEBUT)
9. Oasis- "The Shock of the Lightning" (6th week peak 2) (-1)
8. Brian "Head" Welch- "Flush" (3rd week peak 8) (+2)
At least I'm almost on time this week. So where does "Decode" premiere this week? Is it going to be another #1 debut, which have become rather common recently or is "My Apocalypse" simply too awesome to fall out of the #1 spot. Can you decode it? Or does something really unexpected happen...
On-deck:
15. Framing Hanley- "Lolipop" (yes, it is a cover of the Lil' Wayne song)
14. Mudvayne- "Do What You Do"
13. Kaiser Chiefs- "Never Miss A Beat"
12. Oasis- "The Shock of the Lightning" [OFF]
11. Brian "Head" Welch- "Flush" [OFF]
