Has anyone gotten into the powerful imagery evoked in White Farrari
I care for you still and I will forever That was my part of the deal, honest
We got so familiar
Spending each day of the year, White Ferrari
Good times
Right, I've listened to it a few times now. I'm sorry, but as much as I wanted to love this album, it drags like crazy through most of it. There are no memorable melodys, it just seems like a collection of diary entries. I don't dislike it, his lyrics are good as usual, but I'd have to be in the right mood to sit down and listen to this.
Self Control, White Ferrari, and Siegfried >>>>
It doesn't even come close to the masterpiece that is Channel Orange.
Sus, White Ferrari alone..the outro of that song vocally SH*Ts on everything that is Channel orange..Solo alone disrupts gravity!
Is "Good Guy" him giving a eulogy or is he describing one of his gay friends that he's secretly lusting after?
From Genius:
Quote:
“Good Guy”, the eighth track on Blonde, outlines a quick story of Frank going out on a blind date with a guy who he met through a mutual friend. On the date, Frank learns that the guy isn’t really into him and is just looking for a meaningless night, when Frank was likely hoping for something more.
Then, the outro of the song briefly touches on homosexuality and how difficult and uncomfortable it can be to come out to people and to fit in with straight friends.
