Let me tell you just how hard ranking the top five was: I had at least four different top five rankings. At one point, the entire top 5 stayed the same. I did not keep the top 5 this way, but did Muse achieve something no other band has ever achieved on the Blokk, or did someone like Gorillaz (or a band below the top two) pull off the impossible?
(P.S.: I'm sure you will notice the different look for the top 20 itself. I'm experimenting with different looks again, to come up with the perfect look for the Blokk. Stay tuned.)

Finch - What It Is to Burn
Thank you, thank you, and thank YOU to all of you who actually commented on the countdowns that I could not give thanks for. I'd also like to thank Oreos, Yum, JGib's Kansas Sucks Emporium, Shut Up, You Damn Cat, D. West, The Enzo Ferrari, Health Care Reform Bill, FOUR--whoops, make that THREE MORE WINS!, Nimrod 51, and The Rafael That Is NOT Mr. Tisdale for commenting, numbering, whatevering on the last Blokk!
I went back and forth on the top two for about a legit half hour. As much as I love "Resistance" (and, believe me, the weeks at #1 speak for themselves), I felt like it would have been an injustice for "Stylo" to NOT reach #1, considering it's one of my two or three favorite songs of the new year. The incredible thing is, "Stylo" is at week ten and only getting stronger. It's really showing no signs of slowing down and has a very real chance of breaking the long-standing longevity record. Then again, Muse has a really good chance, too.
So, what's next? Well, Gorillaz look to retain #1 for a second week, while the plethora of contenders below them look to take them out. I can also guarantee that you will see at least two debuts, including the long-awaited (at least by me, anyway) return of The Gaslight Anthem. April is just around the corner, and we're just getting started on the crazy.
