I don't understand how producers could charge artists, unless you're like an independent or unsigned artist where you are more likely not to sell as much. I thought they make money through royalties, at least with signed artists anyway. I mean, do you think a 15 year old girl like Beckie Gomez or her parents pay him $100,000 for every song? Surely Luke would get a certain percentage of each sale instead. I can't see everyone forking out thousands of dollars each time they work with him.

Everything is circumstantial, it depends on who you are, what label you're on, what connections you have, etc. 100k isn't a flat fee. That's probably what he would have charged Nicki for her recent tracks with him.

I feel like Becky is rich so. Plus Dr Luke is a signed producer, he has to make songs for certain artist where as some others can buy him

Yeah I think. Luke also makes royalties though too. Everytime Masquerade is bought or played in a commercial, Luke gets a little bit of cash.
