For instance, Bedtime Stories is all over the map, and Music is really diffuse as well. The albums don't really sound coherent as a whole. But I applaud her for being braver than most mainstream artists, and she did yield some very impressive hits post-Immaculate.

"Music" is one of her most amazing albums ever, is so well done, deep, sincere, stylish and elegant, such an impecable record.
IMO her best 5 albums are: (chronological order)
"True blue"
"Like a prayer"
"Ray of light"
"Music"
"Confessions on a dancefloor"
And IMO she only has 2 bad or weak albums
