Yes that's what I meant, but it hasn't really been publicized well, and maybe this is just for getting the word out about it. I don't see what else it could be. Either that or a "hey, remember RBGY is out tomorrow!"
The direct is for all regions and Magiana has been officially revealed through the official site if i am not mistaken. They don't do more in the west. Well a youtube video to show it in game but... like there is nothing to show.
Daddy Joe from Serebii is certain that they wouldn't do a direct if they didn't announce anything.

No but seriously if we do end up getting a new trailer, I'm expecting the starters mega evolutions/or whatever they are doing in the anime, Zygarde's forms, more megas, and new places to visits.
