Also Mandarke let's not forget the cold-hearted 0 you gave to a certain other person's fave before we start accusing others...

Deja Vu * Beautiful Liar Both songs are flawless
**** Y'all for that. At this rate, I doubt Crazy in Love is even gonna make top 20
Other than those two, the eliminations today were w/e.

Oh, Heidi:
The song that propelled Sugababes from the new girl band in the game towards the top of the girl band ladder, this song served as the lead single from the imaginatively-titled third album, Three (people called albums that before Beyoncé). It's so far the only single of the Babes to feature in a US Hot 100; reaching #96. That's higher than Ciara and Keri's next era combined! Dorian Lynskey of The Guardian refers to the song as " sling-yer-hook skank". I'm not sure what that means, but I'm fairly sure it's Girls Aloud shade.
Jinzo's verdict: 9
Criminally low once more! The Babes are just too flaw-free for you simpletons.

Leona Lewis live in concert:
This was a single that wasn't actually really meant to be a single. Recorded originally as an acoustic cover on Radio 1's Live Lounge, this Snow Patrol-penned song was made a single by absolutely phenomenal demand. The day after being recorded on Live Lounge, 8000 people requested it in the first 2 minutes of a morning radio show. Upon being released digitally, nearly 70,000 people downloaded it in 2 days- making it at the time the fastest-selling digital single ever. After being performed on the X Factor that year, Simon referred to it as "absolutely incredible", whilst on a less rosier side of the fence, Snow Patrol guitarist Nathan Connolly says of the cover; "Nothing against her, but I don't know if I'm going to endorse it". He must stan for Alexandra Burke.
Jinzo's verdict: 9.5
Hauntingly melodramatic. Gives me chills down my spine when she SANGS her way towards the climax of this song. One of the last times that I believe she was truly great.

It's like my whole adolescence (bar that Mel C song) was stomped on today.
Bey, Babes and Aloud? Why you gotta be so mean?

"Run" made it further than those Sugababes songs? What a joke.

About You Now is too flawless. It should have been Top 20 at least.

56. Pink- So What (7.039)
Highest score: 10 x9 (Stevie, Strangergab, jqnetto, superben, tell_me_a_lie, airbornE, berberocka, CrazyCat, Konichiwa)
Lowest score: 0 x3 (JDella11, Glassheart, adrianbeane)
An unflattering picture of Pink:
Would you believe this was the first time ever that Pink hit the US #1 as a soloist? And so it was. Normally the domain of more swift songwriters, So What tackles the thorny issue of a previous breakup. Original. A Max Martin production. Original. Cutting down a tree and riding a lawnmower. Original?
More importantly, the song was covered by The Chippettes for did-better-than-Part-Of-Me box office smash hit Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakuel. Except that time around, the singing was somewhere near tolerable.
Jinzo's verdict: 8
Boring and dry lyrically, but an undeniable banger of a chorus. Well done Alecia, though it was the beginning of your slippery downward slope.

55. La Roux- Bulletproof (7.054)
Highest score: 10 x7 (Stevie, superben, tell_me_a_lie, Kool_Aid_King, VJoker, Konichiwa, MP2K)
Lowest score: 0 x2 (Strangergab, Glassheart)
An unflattering picture of La Roux:
From one terribly-haired girl to another! The bequiffed one, Ms. Eleanor Jackson, earnt her first and only #1 here with this much-fanfared-by-NME-type-elitist-snobs hit. Applying dance-pop mainstream vibes to a catchy beat and melody, Ms. Roux rode the crest of an electronic wave in 2009. Ms. Roux then went on to badmouth a number of singers, including Rihanna, for applying dance-pop mainstream vibes to a catchy beat and melody. I guess she's going In For The Kill.
Jinzo's verdict: 5.5
It's good- well, passable. But the harsh reality is that it's neither I'm Not Your Toy, Tigerlily or In For The Kill.

54. Aaliyah- More Than A Woman (7.179)
Highest score: 10 x13 (madonnas, JDella11, lovesong, Glassheart, adrianbeane, airbornE, tell_me_a_lie, Kool_Aid_King, Pink Panther, Chemist, Flashing Lights, classicmainstream, Ace Reject)
Lowest score: 0 x4 (VJoker, Strangergab, superben, Mandarke)
An unflattering picture of Aaliyah:
We do not mock the dead. Let's troll Beyoncé instead:
The first ever time a female hit a posthumous UK #1, Aaliyah's smash hit was also the first ever time a posthumous #1 was followed by another posthumous #1; this song succeeding the late George Harrison's My Sweet Lord. July 25, 2001 saw her promote this song on Jay Leno, a performance which unfortunately would prove to be her last.
Jinzo's verdict: 8
A great bop, though I really do refrain from listening to it much just because of the emotional connotations I have attached to it.
