Most of you are so stuck with the idea that this whole Tidal thing is about a few billionaire artists. Look at the whole picture - the decline in sales, money and quality of music. They aren't just looking out for themselves (they all have enough money to quit at this very second), but fixing a mistake mistake Spotify made with percentage deals which affects the whole industry.
For the consumer Spotify is a great deal. But for artists? It's laughable.
This is not about Madonna getting paid. India Shawn, James Fauntleroy, Flying Lotus, MNEK etc. wanna get paid adequately too.
At the end of the day NO ONE is forcing you to use this streaming service so WHY ARE YOU BITCHING?
