The Azealia thread is a mess. Someone said Gaga was using black culture like Miley and i don't see it with her. With Miley it feels fake as **** Gaga doing a song called Jewels and drugs with T.I and Twista doesn't feel try hard to me.

I agree everyone's image is somewhat manufactured, but miley's is so obviously contrived. That it's hard to even think for a second this is the real her when camera's ain't rollin. I have a love/hate relationship with 23 tho. As far as Gaga she seems more genuine with it and hasn't she worked with urban artists before the fame

I may be biased towards Gaga but when she did Cake, everyone in the base KNEW she wasn't being serious. I am pro black advancement but some of us really do need to cut it out putting the race card somewhere it doesn't need to be put.Azealia was Reaching for the STARS with that whole 'She's using me for a song called Ratchet because I'm black' mess.It seemed like people can't get cut from albums without people (whether it be the fans or the artist themselves) feeling some type of way

I was thinking the same thing. It's so obviously fake and she's only doing this to shed her disney image when she knows jack about black culture. Yes, peoples tastes and how they view things can change but i don't think she really gets it.

Yeah that album was alright to me, nothing great imo. Had some bops and duds on it. And Kendrick will always be better

Oh she get's it to me, she's following the Xtina Stripped blueprint. The next era she's gonna have a complete new reinvention/personality and then claim it's the real her
