Well, look at the last two-three eras. They were handled so poorly that there was no point in buying unless you're dedicated. Each album has leaked MONTHS (like a good 6) before the release date. I mean I had the whole entire FR and BI albums, I have all the tagged versions, demos, all that. I bought FR but I said the hell with BI. This time it was looking good until they ****ed it up yet again.

Most urban listeners own her stuff and bop to it on the low, I guarantee, but have some songs illegally and be the same ones dragging her.

That's not really a big deal because at the end of the day, it was going to be certified within a month anyway + those sales still won't count for Soundscan and rightfully so. That's not even a major rule change that really works in Jay-Z's favor.

Kendrick deserves to win Best New Artist and Best Rap Album. If J. Cole gets nominated, he and Drake could siphon votes from Kendrick leaving someone like Macklemore or Jay-Z/Kanye to win.

I'm over Kanye and Jay-Z winning every year. I don't think Jay-Z has went home emptyhanded since 2002. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong. There may have been one year where he didn't win anything, but I'm not certain.

So, they practically suck his ass every time he has a record of some sort out. Ugh. It just pisses me off that Kanye and Jay-Z (despite many of their wins being deserving) having ~20 wins, and neither Nas nor Snoop can win at least one.

Gladys Knight has mantained her voice better than ALL OF THEM. Barbra Streisand still sounds good, but she always had a subtle way of singing. It's not like she belted up and down on every song. She didn't have to do all of that even though she could. Patti Labelle still has a good voice.

See, that's what I don't get. Even though they'll be free, the album is still being distributed. If more artists continue to have deals like this, I think SS & Billboard will both make changes.
