How is it flopping though? The two showings last night put its ratings at over 4 million. That's not a flop versus a couple weeks ago when the one airing had only 2.8
First half of Coven > first half of Freak Show, but the second half of Freak Show is fantastic so far. Overall I think Freak Show is way better. Upset about Gloria though. She was by far the best character this season
Didn't Coven get criticized for moving too fast and wrapping everything up really rushed and fast in like the last episode.
I feel like they're doing the complete opposite with this, and going really slow and they're gonna wrap things up over multiple episodes.
But they need to find a happy medium
Coven was criticized for putting too much in at once, not pacing issues. Pacing was fine, until the finale. It's just that they put too many arcs in there and didn't put any proper focus on them, so they ended up abandoning them quickly and giving terrible endings.
I'm also shocked at how the recurring cast are in so many episodes so far. Like, Naomi Grossman's gonna be in next episode (and it'll be her last), and that'll be 10 episodes for her. Erika Ervin, Mat Fraser & Jyoti Amge have also been in 9 episodes (though I guess Jyoti's done now). I'm guessing Erika & Mat will be in more, so they'll have 10 or so episodes under their belt. They haven't done that before.

I was shocked they still brought her in for episodes 8 & 9. Why can't they bring queen SKYLER back? I want more Bonnie. And yeah, I expect more Elsa. She was also supposed to be in episode 4 if it wasn't for the quick-ass cut down to a regular 60 minute episode.
And sis, they TRIED it by having Angela & Gabourey be special guest stars despite being in TWELVE episodes. The most-recurring not-guest-star character was Nan with 9. They will KNOT put Eve in all 13. I can see her getting 10-11. I expect her arc to end in a couple episodes, and even though I don't like the thought, I don't see a bright future for her.

Rooney Mara - she gave me life as the psycho bitch that was Hayden and I've been dying for her to come back ever since
Finn Wittrock - Dandy's my favorite character this season and he's eye candy, too
Lily Rabe - they need to give her another role she can slay the way she did Mary Eunice
Sarah Paulson - I wanna see her as a more ambitious character like Lana again
Alexandra Breckenridge - young, ****ty, seductive Moira >
Mena Suvari - just a great actress that I'd like to see in a bigger role than she had in Murder House
